Great Cabin

  • 4 of 5

This cabin is very well maintained. It is clean and is well stocked. We had no problem finding the cabin and loved that it was tucked back into the forest. Very quiet.

It was easy getting into the Valley and we enjoyed the Yosemite sights.

Very nice home

  • 5 of 5

The pictures of this house do not do it justice. The house is very pretty, has a modern kitchen and all of the conveniences we needed. The bedrooms are small, but well organized and decorated. This house is at the end of a dirt road, difficult to find, but once there it is very private and quiet. It would have been nice to have a dresser drawers in the bedrooms, but it was only a minor issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully maintained cabin INSIDE Yosemite park

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully maintained cabin 2 miles from a huge water fall in I forgot it's name though. comfortable and for 8 people maybe even a 9th with the sofa bed. I kitchen was clean and stocked. I I got lost trying to get here. I my fault is for trusting God navigation to over Susan's map... Follow Susan's map.

Owner's Response: Glad to hear you found my cabin comfortable for your visit to Yosemite. I try to furnish it like i would like to find a place I was going to rent. Finding cabins in the mountains can sometimes be a little tricky, that is why I send a good map to help.

About Susan Kilsdonk

I am a farmers in the San Joaquin Valley in California. I mostly grow grapes and almonds. I love to get away when I can. As you can see I have vacation homes in Yosemite, Lake Nacimiento, and Costa Rica. I work hard and then get away.

Susan Kilsdonk purchased this cabin in 2001

Why Susan Kilsdonk chose Wawona

My ex husband grew up living in Wawona. We visited often his family and raised our kids going up to Wawona. When this cabin came available to purchase we jumped on the chance to own a cabin inside the Park. My sister and her husband are partners on the cabin.

What makes this cabin unique

The smell of the trees and hikes in the area are my favorite. Our cabin is off the main road enough so we do not hear any traffic, but close enough to go to the store a mile away if needed. Swimming in the nearby river is a family favorite. We have 2 favorite swimming places.

Guestbook comments from the owner
