Ridgeview Lodge is nestled in the trees atop a hill overlooking the quaint town of Estes Park with stunning mountain views of Lumpy Ridge and the Twin Owls (Registered Vacation Home #3340). Here you have the best of both worlds - you can escape to the mountains and relax, yet it’s only a 5 minute walk into the center of town to enjoy shops and restaurants! Open up the windows and listen to the calming sound of the river. Do you love the outdoors? The majestic Rocky Mountain National Park is just a 5 min drive away where you can enjoy wildlife, hundreds of hiking trails, rock climbing, amazing views, beautiful drives, numerous lakes and waterfalls as well as snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
The spacious, open floor plan of this home allows plenty of room for everyone as well as gathering space to spend quality time together. The master bedroom has it’s own half bath for privacy, a plush queen size log bed, dresser, closet and writing desk. The 2nd bedroom is quite large and offers versatility for kids or adults with a log bunk bed that has a twin bed on top and queen on the bottom. There is a large dresser and plenty of closet space as well as a stash of board games and toys. These guests enjoy a full bath with tub/shower just down the hall. This home has a tankless water heater which allows back-to-back showers so all guests can enjoy a hot shower in the morning!
Downstairs is a beautiful separate suite with its own bathroom with shower, kitchenette with fridge and microwave, gas fireplace and private patio. The large suite has a queen size bed, dresser, closet and a futon that folds out to queen size as well. Guests in this suite also enjoy their own flat screen TV. With large windows and the same stunning views enjoyed upstairs, it’s hard to decide who gets to stay in this room! If desired, maximum privacy can be achieved by closing a door atop the stairs to separate this room from the rest of the house. It even has its own entrance from the outside. Overall, we can accommodate 8 guests in this home.
In the living area, enjoy two full size sofas, a flat screen TV with blu-ray player and library of movies to watch, or relax and read a book. We have lots of books about the local area so you’ll have no trouble finding things to do, if you ever want to leave the house! There is a loft above the living room with some comfy chairs and plenty of reading material. Our dining room seats 6-8 with mountain views and warmth from the wood burning stove. If you prefer to eat outdoors, the deck seats 11 and boasts amazing mountain views as well as a view of town. Enjoy the lovely sounds of the river while outside and open up the windows to enjoy it inside as well. The open kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, bakeware, serving dishes, dishes and utensils...just bring home the groceries and prepare a lovely meal for the family. We also have a Cuisinart CrockPot, toaster, blender, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, baking dishes, pizza pan, cookie sheets and mixing bowls. If you want to relax and let someone else do the cooking, we have provided menus from many places in town, including lots who deliver!
We want you to get the most out of your vacation so we have provided lots of information on things to do in town and in the national park. You can also find the events calendar for the town in the links section on our website. We have free wi-fi in the home in case you need to look up activities or even get a little work done if you can’t completely get away. We welcome dogs too! Bring your best friend along. Call us with any questions and we look forward to having you stay!

About Christie Scott
My name is Christie and I make it my goal to make your stay as comfortable as possible because it brings me joy for others to have a great time here!
Christie Scott purchased this House in 2011
Why Christie Scott chose Estes Park
Estes Park and my family have a long history together - both my parents grew up taking family vacations here. I fell in love with it as a teenager and have been a frequent visitor since moving to Colorado in 2005. This town has a hold on my heart and I want other people to experience it and fall in love with it too!
What makes this House unique
What I love about this home is the fact you are nestled in the mountains, able to relax and enjoy the quietness, the trees and the amazing views... yet it's only a 5 min walk into town to enjoy everything Estes Park has to offer. It's also only a 5 min drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. This home is comfortable, cozy and enjoyable.
Sports & Adventure Activities
We very much enjoyed staying at this cute but spacious cabin in Estes Park.
There's plenty of room to relax, plenty of bedrooms to get away, great views, and we loved the kitchen.
Perfect winter escape!
What a great place! A cozy mountain home tucked away in the woods with ample space for two couples (plus) and two dogs. There’s amazing views, a fireplace, and within walking distace to town. We cooked all of our main meals in the well stocked kitchen then walked to grab snacks and a beer down the street at Rockcut Brewery and then walked the path that goes along the creek in Estes each day. Clean, comfortable and highly recommended!
I loved our stay!!
Thank you for having us. We absolutely loved our stay here. The view was amazing and very close to downtown. It was also only about a ten minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. The house was stocked with everything my family needed. Enough room for 8 of us but still a very cozy home feel. We will definitely be back!
Thanksgiving in Estes Park
We love this cabin and location. This is our 3rd stay at the Ridgeview Lodge. It is perfect for all of our needs and love being able to bring our dogs. We saw deer everyday we were here in the back yard and when we were taking the dogs for walks in the neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner. We can't wait to be back again next year.
Comfortable, serene, great location
We’re repeat visitors and will be back again. They’re such a pleasure to work with and the house is consistently comfortable, clean and well-stocked. The location, with amazing views, is so convenient to just walk right downtown. Love this place!
Easy and perfect for our family!
It was easy to find. You could walk to town and it had great views!
Four wheel drive tours, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Wildlife viewing, Historic Tours, the entire Rocky Mountain National Park is just 5 mins away!
