About the property

Large 2BR with spacious deck, large open living/dining, reserved parking, 2 BRs

Located at Provincetown's Bay Colony Condominiums, this immaculate 2-bedroom / 1-bath rental is convenient to both beach and town.

This is a rare rental: one bedroom has a king-size bed, and the other has has two twin beds that can be combined to make a king-bed for couples. The open kitchen/living room has views of the bay and sliding glass door to the porch.

Cross the street and take the association stairs to the beach. (Watch a quick video here: https://www.youtube.com/embed/aALTWYEJmGs?rel=0).

You're just a short bike ride to the center of town, or use the local shuttle bus that makes frequent stops at the Bay Colony entrance. There is coin-operated laundry in the basement of the building.

The unit includes wireless internet and cable TV. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player in the living room, and a flat screen TV in the rear bedroom (the one with the king bed). The unit also has one reserved parking spot just outside the entrance.

Note: In aerial photo, Bay Colony condos are the cluster of buildings on the left. The unit is in the second building on the right, first floor. From the living room, you can see the lighthouse at the end of Long Point.

Summer rate: $1400/per week plus $500 refundable security deposit and Homeaway fee. One week minimum. See rates section for spring, fall and off-season rates.

About Chris Grasso

My partner and I live in Washington, DC. We have been going to Provincetown every summer for the past 15 years, so we finally decided to take the plunge and buy a place.

Chris Grasso purchased this condo in 2014

Why Chris Grasso chose Cape Cod

We wanted to be as close to the water as possible, but still have enough space to feel comfortable, and to have friends stay. This was the perfect combination.

What makes this condo unique

We love being 60 seconds from the beach, and being on the part of the Commercial Street where there are no building on the beach side. It's close enough to enjoy all the action in town, but just far enough to give us total peace and quiet when we want it. Being next door to the Harbor Hotel makes it feel like a resort -- total access to their pool, deck, restaurant, outdoor fire pit and deck. Pretty amazing.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a few days to recharge now that summer is ending and the holidays are quickly approaching. The house was great: clean, quiet, exactly as pictured and described. Provincetown in Sept is a must!

Clean and quiet

  • 5 of 5

It was nice to be on the outskirts of town.

A simple 20-25 minute walk in or a quick shuttle ride. Shuttle passes by every half hour.

Pretty much equipped with everything one would need.

Beach is right across the street and great for kids, if you have any.

We'll be back again.

Even Bigger and More Comfortable Than Expected

  • 5 of 5

The weather during my stay wasn't the best, so I spent a lot of time in this condo: it was even bigger and more comfortable than I expected. The location is amazing -- the access to the beach can't be beat, and it's a short trip into town -- and the owner was very responsive to the few questions I had. If/when I return to Provincetown I will definitely rent this property again. Highly recommended!

Great spot in P-town

  • 4 of 5

Clean, bright and open without all the clutter I have found in other rentals. Right on water and hotel across street has pool that can be used. We loved our stay here. Beds were comfortable and he supplies sheets and towels which is not common. Would go back. The only down side is that the bathroom is a bit dated, but it did not bother me really.

Glorious Family memories created

  • 5 of 5

When searching for your family vacation, you have to consider so many points....the first and foremost is where to stay. I came across this condo at vrbo.com and fell in love instantly...who couldn't adore a beach vacation with the beach at your finger tips. This condo has everything...comfortable beds...better than any 5 star hotel I've been in....full kitchen, clean bathrooms and best of all...the kindest owner. Chris was kind, respectful, intuitive, and beyond helpful. We picked our date, and his turn around time to answer all our questions is less than an hour!

This condo is perfect. We had brought our bikes and rode to town at lease twice a day. The convenience between the cape cod tourist spots like whale watching, para sailing, hiking to see seals, and so many galleries is at your command. Then to be on the beach to spend late nights hunting for crabs brought more smiles to our sons face.

This infact was our first trip to cape cod...and while there are so many quaint towns and sites to see our family never left Provincetown....and to be honest, we wish we could have stayed the whole summer.

If you are looking for a peace of heaven by the ocean....where you can get lost in a book while eating yet another lobster roll this is your destination....we will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Langlois family....2016
