gondola transportation network. Walk around the grove of aspen and fir trees standing outside the 12 Trails Edge front door, and enter Town Hall Plaza. As the name implies, the mayor and
his team operate the Mountain Village from their second floor offices above the Village's new gourmet grocery store.
The plaza also offers a coffee bar, a well-stocked liquor store, the town post office and a gondola station. From here, it is a 3 minute glide to the heart of the Village core, another 4 minute ride to Allred's Restaurant at the top of the ridge, and 11 minutes more to the town of Telluride. Go ahead—enjoy another glass of Pinot at La Marmotte, and rest assured the gondola will deliver
you safely and silently back to your front door to end another incredible evening.
In the winter, pull your ski boots out of your personal locker and put them on by the fireplace downstairs, walk the half block to the end of the heated street, and slide under Lift 10 onto Double Cabins ski run. If you end up skiing into the Village or the town, you can ride the free gondola back to Trails Edge.

Telluride deserves its reputation as having the most dramatic views in Colorado. The ski mountain is huge with acres of skiing for every ability. Excellent skiers will find new challenges and Lift 10 provides new skiers with miles of gliding. Telluride's free gondola transit system is unique. It runs from 7:30 in the morning until mid-night and beyond. The gondola station across the road provides a 3 minute ride to the center of the Mountain Village or a 15 minute ride over the 10,500 foot ridge and down to the town of Telluride in the valley below.
From the lobby or the heated garage, the elevator delivers you directly into this condominium. This condominium sits comfortably above the single family homes below, so nothing interferes with the dramatic views. There is a large gas fireplace in the living room. The recycled chestnut lockers in the ski room provide an old world atmosphere as you pull on your boots and head out to the slopes.
This was our first time in Telluride and first time for our young girls to get on skis. We loved returning to this place after a long day of skiing. This condo was conveniently located, appointed as pictured and very comfortable. The master BR is quite nice. The second bedroom was adequately sized for our 7 and 9 year olds. In addition to being a lovely place, it was really fun for the kids, with tons of games, craft supplies and a few toys to play with. Communication with the management company was easy and they were responsive when needed. We assume most people dine out. We like to eat in and had the tools to do so. Food staples would all need to be purchased if you wanted to do some serious cooking. A nice grocery story is a four minute walk, (as is access to the gondola). This isn't a complaint, as I'm sure things would sit unused and go bad, just an observation that might be helpful to some.
We made some happy family memories here and would return without hesitation!
We have been renting vacation properties in Telluride for more than a decade and this condo tops the list for our family. It is well appointed with all the necessities, in excellent condition, and in an ideal location near the Mountain Village market.
We had a great stay in this condo. We stayed here with our 4 and 7 year old kids and it was a perfect size for us. The condo is wonderful and is fully stocked with everything you need but the best feature is the location. We parked in the garage when we arrived and didn't need our vehicle again until we left to drive home. You can easily walk to the gondola, grocery store, liquor store, coffee shop, etc. Once you're on the gondola, it's just a short ride to ski school and town. The ski-in/ski-out access is excellent. It's our second stay at Trails Edge and we'll definitely return in the future.
Had an amazing stay at the condo. Great location- basically ski in ski out, across from the gondola, across from the market. We had a car but no car is needed. The condo was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Family trip to do some spring skiing. Location was wonderful as we could walk the short distance and put on skis and away we went! Easy access to the Gondola system. Wonderful Condo with all the amenities. We cooked every night and felt right at home. I highly recommend this place!
Trails Edge was the perfect location for a ski vacation in Telluride! We enjoyed all the amenities of our home away from home and loved the view of the mountains, both from the living room and master bed room!
