We bought this property because after living abroad for a couple of years we decided we had to have a home base. When we were living in the Patagonia in Argentina, our home flooded and we were left living in hotels for over 4 months! All we could think about was how we needed a home of our own waiting for us back in Texas (staying with relatives is not the same!). Because of these experiences, we know what you need to be comfortable when you are away from home. Of course it is conveniently located to relatives (also known as babysitters!) about a block and half away. My sister has lived in the neighborhood for about 15 years and besides babysitting, also manages the home for us. The home was perfect for us as when we go back we want to shop, go to sporting events, and be close to my husband's workplace.

The location of this property couldn’t be better! It truly is walking distance from fabulous places - from French bistros, to central market, to fabulous clothing stores. It is also amazingly quiet. I cannot believe how quiet, when so close to the interstates! Wendy, the owner, is awesome! She was so nice and sincere!!
We were also just a quick drive to MD Anderson! My husband was here for proton, so we moved from Florida to Texas for 6 weeks. They constantly we’re changing the schedule, and the proximity to MD Anderson made this an easy issue to address. The fact that Wendy was so nice and sincere, made this difficult time much easier to deal with!

My husband and I had to be in Houston for 5 weeks and were lucky to have found this place. The owner had everything ready for us. We found everything we needed whether it be in the kitchen, laundry, or comfort. It is also a great location with easy access to freeways, a good variety of restaurants, and shopping. We had a lot of free time after treatments at MD Anderson, so it was nice to be in such a central location. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks, Wendy!

This home is exactly as described which I find is the most important characteristic of a VRBO listing. Noone wants surprises. The location is ideal, easy access to all highways, walking distance to restaurants, movies and fitness center. Wendy is completely responsive. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the home was exceptionally clean.
A great place to stay with a toddler!
The house was very clean, clutter free, and user friendly. Everything was of a high quality, worked and was well maintained. It is a super place to stay with a toddler - safe, very few items to move out of the way, toys to borrow and a child sized table and chairs! The shared garden outside is a lovely space to run off some energy! Pumpkin patch park at river oaks is walking distance away. As is central market and Walgreens for essentials and high end holiday food choices! Needing somewhere to stay in Houston then don't hesitate to book this wonderful home.

We truly enjoyed staying in this town home. My family and I (including our 9 month old) felt right at home. Perfect location & Wendy was very attentive to our needs. We frequented Central Market, which is one of the nicest grocery stores I've been in (and only a short drive away). Would highly recommend this property!

Extremely well-appointed & spacious townhouse close to upscale restaurants, shopping & grocery. From the open space living / dining to the tidy garage, this was the perfect spot for me & my dog during a month-long stay in Houston for work. And owner a pleasure to work with!
Our home is located in the coveted 'inner loop' (bordered by four major highways, IH10, US59, Loop610, and IH45) allowing you to get to the major points in the city without spending too much time in traffic. US59 is less than a mile away and Loop610 is about a mile and a half away. Restaurants, both fast-food and very high end, abound within a 3 mile radius as do grocery stores and bars. Any shopping you could possibly want is within 5 miles and most is within 2 miles. Homes location also makes it easy to get to the Texas Medical Center, Downtown, and all major sports arena's and stadiums. The museum district is also a few miles away. Despite being conveniently located to all major points of interest, it is in a quiet, affluent neighborhood.
