Spending time with my family at the cabin is my favorite thing to do.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2011
“I’m in love with Montana. For other states I have admiration, respect, recognition, even some affection. But with Montana it is love. And it’s difficult to analyze love when you’re in it.”
John Steinbeck
Being surrounded by true wild beauty and all kinds of outdoor pursuits, yet close enough to take advantage of a mountain college town only 25 minutes away in Missoula.
The house is wonderful and the setting is amazing. The house is nestled in the mountains next to the beautiful Clark Fork River. The kitchen was great for entertaining and also for fixing meals. Lots of room to cook and still feel a part of the activities. The bedrooms and beds were comfortable and private.. The house is family friendly. The river is easily accessible from the yard, it is a great place for a family. I began planning my return trip before I had even left the property. I can't wait for my next visit.
Perfect cabin for a fly fisherman....the Clark Fork is out the back door....the Blackfoot and Bitterroot Rivers are within an hour....cabin is fully furnished with good television reception and Directv service.....everything you need for a memorable vacation is in the house.....we plan to come back again....
We had a wonderful stay. It is very convenient for fishing and for local drop offs. It is quiet and only about a half hour drive from Missoula where we watched Montana football!
The cabin has a terrific history and is very well taken care of. It is just perfect.
It's the perfect location for our annual family get together! The cabin is private, clean, comfortable and offers everything you need to entertain. We have plenty of space for our big, multi generational group to play games, fish, swim and float the river. We enjoy the fire pit and stars each evening. We are already booked for next year! It's a great base for many Montana adventures and experiences!
I'd also like to thank Brian Beckman, the owners brother, who graciously offered us a ride to the airport at the end of our stay when our rental car failed us! He could not have been nicer! We were very grateful!
By the pictures & the description, you might think it cant be true? Well that just ain't so! Everything is even better than described about the San Souci cabin. The river front is spectacular! The Cabin is better than described. Everything from the bedding to the pots & pans are very well thought out.Be careful about the price & the grill! The VRBO price & Adam's don't match. And, there is a grill, but you will need to bring charcoal. Adam keeps the good grill locked up?
The cabin sits right on the river making your fishing day start right away. It's spotless and has a TV for the football games if you're there in the fall. Plenty of room and everything is there for most every day needs. Also, you're not far from the Bitterroot or the Blackfoot or Rock Creek if those waters beckon. The pictures can't capture how nice the setting is, and the sun room is the big bonus, especially if you're just back from falling in the river and need to warm up. The cabin is very clean and well kept. Just up the road is the River's Edge Steakhouse with its own ambience and good food (go on a Sunday night and you'll hear some very good local country and western singers.) Highly recommend this exceptional cabin.
Beautiful and a well-tended cabin. The owner has gone out of his way to make this a great experience. However, if you are sensitive to noise, the trains may bother you, especially at night.
