Beautiful cabin on awesome land.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for a long weekend. The cabin is immaculate. We never left! The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. We used the stove, oven, and the gas grill. The cabin is full of ceiling fans and windows, so we were not hot at all. The screened-in porch is just wonderful.. I hardly moved from this area. No bugs and can hang outside in the rain! The surrounding nature is wonderful. You do have neighbors but everyone was quiet and we felt secluded. The river out back is awesome. Clear water with tons of brook trout! We caught many fish in the river right out back of the cabin, we did not have to travel far down the river. On Friday, we did not see one person on the river.... it was glorious! Saturday brought out the canoes and kayaks but still didn't see too many people. We enjoyed the fire pit both nights with the sounds of coyotes near by howling! I do not have enough good things to say about this place. Beth was awesome with communication. We will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing your awesome cabin in this beautiful area of Michigan.

Little piece of paradise in the North

  • 5 of 5

We've been staying here for a number of years now. The reason we keep coming back and will continue to come back is the graciousness of the hosts and the beautiful accommodations. Add to that the magnificent view and sound of the Manistee flowing by it makes for a wonderful get away. The weather didn't cooperate this time around, but we hardly noticed. A fire in the fireplace, a good book, and the trout tree lit, we were in heaven. In all the years we've been staying here, I don't think the TV has ever been turned on. It's just too peaceful for that.

I highly recommend staying here!

Steve

Weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

We were here Thanksgiving weekend and it's a perfect place to get away for a couple of days. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to hunker down and enjoy a cozy fire in the beautiful fireplace. It was big enough to heat the cabin. Beth and Bill were very easy to work with and easy to get a hold of with any questions. I will definitely be back to enjoy this cozy cabin of peacefulness. Thank you for the relaxing weekend.

A beautiful location on the Manistee River. Offers a variety of activities, such as Miya king, canoeing, fishing, swimming, or just sitting by the campfire. The cabin is very clean and has all the amenities of home. Would highly recommend this getaway!!!

Wonderful Family Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic property in a fantastic setting. I visited the cabin in June '16, along with my wife and three kids - the smallest being three months old. Naturally, traveling with small kids requires a fair amount of creature comfort and this cozy cabin was perfect. In fact, my kids has such a great time that they asked if we could come back next summer after being at the cabin for about 4 hours.

The kitchen was super clean was comes complete with everything needed to cook gourmet meals - including a dishwasher! There is a gas BBQ for grilling, a screened in porch for relaxing, and a streamside fire pit for late evening marshmallow roasting. For the fishermen, there are plenty of brook trout in the backyard, but you'll find greater numbers of fish downstream. We loved the screened in porch and found it perfect for tying on our favorite flies. My son caught his first brookie on the dock and we "donated" the fly to the mantle, alongside a few others that were already there...

Exceeded expectations and I hope we have an opportunity to stay again.

Beautiful Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Gorgeous, clean property right on the Manistee. Everything needed for your stay is provided - except food, of course! I would recommend this property to anyone looking for canoeing, fishing, tubing or just a nice, peaceful escape from the everyday life. Thank you again for letting us celebrate our 11th annual girls weekend there.
