The property was nice enough.
We specifically asked if there was a place to park our bikes safely. We got there no one was at the desk and I searched the entire building for desk staff. After 20 minutes I found someone who didn't know what he was doing. He didn't know anything about safe bike storeage and called to find out that there was a bike rack outside. No good enough for $5,000 bikes. We were then told we could put the in the room with us. Great! Our room was on the 2 floor and we are in our late 60's. Not a great option. We're fit ,but these bikes are lbs. then as we were getting reat for bed our bed shook like a semi truck convoy going on. After 2 hours of this we both jumped on the floor as hard as we could and it finally stopped around midnight, which screwed out plans for an early bike ride. The property is nice, but the management sucks.
Dear Julie, I'm glad you found the property to be nice. It's very disheartening that you left such a bad review on this privately managed condo. I'm hoping that this review was based on the poor service you received from the front desk (Prospector Lodge) which is not associated with the rental of this condo. Before you booked, I told you that there was no bike storage but that you were welcome to leave your bikes in your room. Unfortunately, the front desk (Prospector Lodge) is a different company and they only manage the Home Owners Association. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with that company who issued you your entry key. We hope you stay with us again, Mountain Planet Lodging. Best Regards, Renee/Host
The unit was very clean with a recently remodeled bath (glassed-in shower). Beds were excellent. Only one room with bath but spacious enough for the two of us. Could sleep 4 if all were good friends. Furnished with flat screen TV (although fairly small), coffee maker, and microwave oven. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Economically priced in comparison to other accommodations in Park City area. Located in Prospector Square which is about 2 miles from Park City Mountain Resort.
Ideally located in Prospector Square with easy access to bus stops (yellow bus goes directly to Deer Valley Resort where we skied). Also, 1 block from two excellent restaurants - Fuego Bistro and Grubb Steak.
Prospector Lodge #318 is located at 2105 Prospector Ave (Building 3).
