DVD/VCR player.Guests are welcome to use our ocean front Beach Club locker to store their beach stuff.Guests have been raving recently about our ocean front view-the view is much better since some of the palm trees were trimmed.Our Guestbook has been in condo 12 years-we can fax a copy to you.We now have security feature on sliding doors called Monkey Bars for 2013. Nature is preserved all around you at Ocean Creek Resort.The tidal ocean creek is entertaining and relaxing to watch.

Watch the tide rise and fall,the exotic birds,crabs,and fish.Kids young and old are fascinated with the ocean creek and like to see what interesting treasures their nets might bring up.Kids love to feed the ducks in the pond and frolic in the creek at low tide.

Our condo is decorated with a beach theme. You get that beach feel whether you're on the beach or in the condo. The owners visit often to keep everything in great condition for your enjoyment.

No elevators to wait for on this first floor condo and you're several feet above ground giving a second floor like view.

Ocean Creek is a 57 acre gated resort with 24 hour security. Between the ocean creek and the ocean is the Beach Club with a large pool, kiddie pool, playground, and volleyball court.

In the summer enjoy a snack at the Beach Club Cabana.

The tennis center has seven courts, two having lights for evening play. For golfers there is a putting green. Ocean Creek also has an indoor pool, whirlpools, five other outdoor pools, convention center, and restaurant.

Drive right out of this lavishly landscaped resort past all the beautiful moss covered oak trees across the highway to Barefoot Landing, with 113 shops, restaurants, The Alabama Theater, The House of Blues,and Alligator Adventure.

Shopping carts are provided along with luggage carts to make unloading and loading easier. Also the building is kept very clean.

Great view, Great weather

Had a wonderful time. Really liked being on the first floor, which allowed avoiding the elevator, parking close to the condo and still having a beautiful view of the ocean. Will be back.

Great week at the beach.

I had a wonderful week in this condo. It was clean and well maintained. The location of the unit was very convenient. I am looking forward to staying there in 2018. I appreciate it that the owners so graciously share their condo at the beach.

NOT recently redecorated, dirty, old

Not as described by owner. Older condo with problems. Kitchen faucet almost falling off, building management came to turn off water, had to wait twice for a plumber. Had to plunge our toilets daily and plungers left on floor not in bucket or bags. gross. there is even a sign on the toilet to use the plunger. Carpet is old and worn and everything is full of dust. Loads of dust. Sheetrock peeling in shower, old fixtures, uncomfortable beds and extra flat pillows. Safe was locked so could not use. Refrigerator door would not shut completely, sign on freezer said to prop up ice maker to shut off. Took a look and it was already propped up with a BBQ fork! Don't think the kitchen sink ever saw Ajax cleaner. The stove has to be from 1980's. A cabinet door fell off when opened. Every single handle in the kitchen had black greasey marks from not being cleaned. The patio doors were very difficult to open probably because all the handles but one was missing. The outdoor furniture was old, peeling and the cushion moldy. Beware. The only good thing about it was the view.

Owner's Response: Guests are reviewed also. Homeowners are allowed to write a review about every guest. The review is not public. I am so terribly sorry you had a bad experience. I am not writing a bad review about you. I got a phone call from the building manager that there was a leak coming from our condo and water had made a puddle beneath in the parking garage. I called our plumber's wife and gave her your phone number. I never once spoke to you. The plumber replaced the faucet. We just bought 22 items this 2017 for the living room and dining room. The kitchen is next to update. Ice maker/frig/freezer and stove all work fine. The note I left says do not put too much paper in the toilet. I never wrote a note that said use a plunger. We just had the carpet cleaned at beginning of rental season this year.The carpet is very high grade. The cleaning ladies work for their family's carpet cleaning business,so we will inspect the carpet. The carpet is not worn-not sure where you saw worn carpet. No one else complained about dust,but I am sure there is always some dust.I will have the filter changed. I always keep clean filters next to a/c heat unit. We repaired the sheetrock (a small ~4.5 inch area over the shower spout). Will patch again. Nothing at all wrong with fixtures.The king bed was purchased at an upscale store-I love that bed-I sleep so well on it. Safe belongs to Ocean Creek Resort. I doubt the cabinet door fell off or the cleaning people would have told me.We have silicone spray guests spray on rollers to make the doors slide better. There is a slot in the doors for your fingers to open the doors.The patio furniture is older but upscale-works fine.I will have cleaners check those cushions. You paid $60/night to us in rent.We made ~$75 for your 7 days after paying the cleaning service and plummer. The last week in October there were lots of vacant condos on Ocean Creek's 57 acre resort. Why didn't you tell someone you had very high standards and did inspections? They could have matched you with a property. WE JUST UPDATED THE LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM WITH 22 ITEMS TOTAL-WE WORKED REALLY HARD ON THIS. ARE YOU AN INVESTOR TRYING TO FOIL OUR RENTALS???OR DID YOU GET THIS UPSET BECAUSE THE BUILDING MANAGER DISCOVERED THE LEAK? YOU SHOULD HAVE EMAILED ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM WITH THE FAUCET.THE RESORT HAS A KEY TO THE CONDO,YOU DID NOT HAVE TO BE THERE TO MEET THE PLUMBER. THE PLUMBER HAS WORKED FOR US AND OCEAN CREEK RESORT FOR 15 YEARS-HE IS NOT GOING TO STEAL

You can park up on the upper parking just outside the main 1st floor lobby and go in the door off our breezeway and not even have to go through lobby and also not get on an elevator . In 2004 when trying to decide which condo to buy,I looked off the balcony and thought wow this view is beautiful. We hope you will come again and again. Thanks for the very nice review.
