Great home, Great location, Best Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We celebrated by husbands birthday at Bella's Run and had a perfect time! The home accommodated all of our needs, was exceptionally clean, welcoming and comfortable. The yard was large for the dogs and the path to the river, though still running fast and high due to the extended winter was just beautiful to experience. Thank you for having us, we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bell's Run, the cabin was lovely and in a peaceful and private spot. It was perfect for a family get away. Would recommend it.

Perfect getaway!!!

  • 5 of 5

Spent a few days in Mid November and had a great time. The location is easy to get to yet nicely secluded. It is just a short jaunt to the notorious Plain Hardware store and a few miles further to Leavenworth. The "cabin" has all the comforts of home, yet is "secluded". The river is easy walking distance. There is an abundance of wildlife and just a short jaunt to fishing, hunting and skiing.

The owners are great to work with and everything was as advertised. My wife and I had the secluded getaway we wanted and could not have been happier with our stay.

Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Comfortable, welcoming and beautiful

  • 5 of 5

It was incredible! We saw wild turkey and deer on the property! - so cool. Our dogs and kids loved running around the yard. We walked down to the river and enjoyed sitting and watching the river flow by. We fished at Fish Lake and caught both perch and trout and cooked them over the campfire. The real wood burning fireplace was the topper. We would love to come back and experience the summer hiking. We highly recommend!

Where do you live?

A nicely equip Cabin!

  • 4 of 5

We had such a wonderful stay here. It was perfect as far as size. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. The cabin offered everything we could have needed. Nice supply of wood, kitchen utensils and household supplies. I've honestly never visited somewhere where I didn't have to 'need' anything. The only con we had during our stay is the showers. Very low water pressure and the water just kind of drizzled out of the shower head. I know the house is on a septic system so I'm not sure if that would be the cause OR if maybe just replacing the shower heads would do the deed but if those were fixed I'd probably never want to leave!

Thank you again for sharing your home with my family.

Owner's Response: We are so very glad you had an amazing time! Thank you for letting us know about the shower water pressure. We had our property managers install a new shower head in both bathrooms which has solved the problem. When we are not there ourselves we appreciate the feedback. Thank you again for choosing Bella's Run Cabin - we strive to keep it running in tip top shape for all of our guests!

Great Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Overall the trip was wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and well stocked. Communication with the owner was very responsive and easy. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. The managers were very nice, showed us their raised bed garden as we were interested in that and took my husband down to pick up the car, he would have walked, where we left it so we could float down the Wenatchee River to the house.

A couple of things that could have made it better, if you have never been in a home with a metal roof that was new. The popping was constant and loud. During the day it really wasn't a big deal but at night it was a bit bothersome. The last reviewer mentioned fans, there was only one we found but there was enough other background noise already I didn't want to listen to fans running as well. I suppose we got mostly use to it but some instruction or information about this would have been helpful. Our child didn't want to sleep in the downstairs bedrooms by herself because it was so loud and "scary" so she slept on the pull out couch the entire visit. The dvd player is only partly functional, we did watch several but though there were several remotes none of them seemed to fit the equipment there. Some instructions on how to operate the system and working remotes would have been very helpful. We were hoping for more of a woodies feel to the place but the cabin itself is pretty much out in the open, sure there are a few trees but the only "woods" are on the steep trail down to the river. The trail down to the river, which I didn't realize the river was so far down, is nice but would be difficult for young children or older people. There isn't really any "beach" or even place to enjoy the river. We walked around the best we could through the weeds and muddy rocks in the river but you cannot tell what is part of the property and where it ends. We were hoping to spend more time at the river but it was limited because of this. Cell phone coverage was not as expected, my husbands Tmobile worked, my Ting (uses Sprint network) didn't work at all. The hot tub was nice but controlling the temp was impossible and some of the jets weren't working instructions would have been nice. Lastly a welcome guide with area information would have been a nice touch. I'm glad we found the place, it was a lovely vacation away from home, I would recommend it to others but some more details would have been helpful to me as I noticed the details!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your thoughts Carol. An Extensive Welcome Letter was emailed to you as well as to each and every guest prior to their stay which gives direction, guidance and instruction for most of your thoughts - I will go back through, though, to see if I can enhance some of the verbiage to be sure each section is clear for all future guests. 1) The roof popping: is not common but does happen. Some big wind gusts can come through and cause the roof to “pop” a bit as well as drastic temperature changes from day to night. Comments from other renters and our personal guests have been positive, they like the sound as it adds to the the “mountain cabin” feeling. 2) The electronics: I did follow up myself and there are 3 electronics for the entertainment system, a TV, dvd player & a bluetooth amplifier for music. All 3 had their correct remote controls - all working properly - there was one extra remote for the old tv which I threw out to avoid confusion in the future. I am sorry you had trouble. In all of our guest conversations I always close with “Please call me anytime if you have any questions.” I would have helped walk you through. 3) The river: both the VRBO website as well as the Welcome Letter explain that the cabin is on a “high” bank with a pretty steep trail down to the 186 feet of “natural riverfront”. We are not allowed to alter the rivers edge so we keep it in it’s natural state - rocks in the water and grasses on it’s edge, there is a picture on the website for reference - It is a great place to pull out when river rafting! For a wonderful sandy beach head just 3 miles over to Lake Wenatchee State Park - best of both worlds! 4) Cell service: I have sprint myself and it works very well. In the Welcome Letter it is stated that most services except Verizon will need to roam and, as you and I spoke about, you had your roaming turned off which is why you were not able to find service. 5) The hot tub: we do have a service that checks on the tub prior to and following every guest visit to keep it healthy, clean & in working order. Also in the Welcome Letter - we give instruction on how to turn the nobs around the top of the tub to manipulate the flow of water to the jets. I have confirmed that all jets are working though I have asked our service, once again to be sure to have all jets flowing after previous guests change it. In speaking with you, you voiced you had the most wonderful time and for that I am glad. Thank you again for thoughts.
