|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Casa Gioli has been lovingly furnished. It comprises a bedroom with double bed, a shower room, and a living room with kitchenette and sofa (or 2 single beds if you happen to be 4 guests). Our apartments have everything required for a perfect stay: all the kitchen necessities, a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, satellite TV, hair dryer, bed linens, towels, air-conditioning unit, and internet access. In the evening, you can spend time on the small terrace (a private entryway to the apartment, which we converted to a terrace) enjoying a glass of wine, reflecting on your day, and basking in Rome's magical glow.
The apartments are located in the elegant Prati neighbourhood, at the foot of Monte Mario. The Vatican is just a short 10-minute walk away. If you would prefer to give your feet a break, just hop on bus 70 or 23 for a quick trip: the Vatican is only three stops away! All of the Holy City's tourist sites are very quickly and easily accessible.
2 of our apartments are located in our early 20th-century villa's annex. They each have their own separate entrance and are very peaceful, since their windows overlook a small garden. Both of these apartments also each have an exterior area: one apartment has a small terrace, while the other has a garden. The third apartment is located in the main house, but nevertheless has its own separate entrance.
Casa Gioli and Casa Giardino each have a bedroom with double bed and a living room with kitchenette and 2 single beds. The La Terza apartment has a bedroom with high-quality sofa bed, and all 3 apartments offer all the comforts of home: washing machine, internet, TV, air-conditioning, etc.
The location is absolutely perfect. Our apartments are the ideal starting point for trips around the city. The neighbourhood is home to all kinds of shops and restaurants, the biggest and most important vegetable and flower market lies just around the corner, and the Via Candia and Via Cola di Rienzo shopping streets are also nearby.
There is ONE parking for both apartments. Please enquire if the parking is available, if you're interested. Normally it is. Otherwise it's very easy to find a parking on the street.
Perfect distance to the tourist attractions, well connected by metro, buses. A marvelous place for evening walks in the top of the h ill watching Rome at night. Perfect for an apartment to meet with their adult children, and feel as if at home. Apartment is clean, nice and romantic, with the air conditioner, and everything you need in the kitchen.
Near the house is a cafe with the most delicious ice cream, confectionery with Italian pizza, supermarket.
Daniela is such a cute friendly, understanding and helpful.
We had ideally spent time in Rome and stayed in many nice memories!
Thank You very much Segnora Daniela!
We had 2 nights in Rome and this was a great little apartment for our stay. It was really clean and had everything we needed. Daniela speaks really good English and was lovely and very helpful and professional right from our initial inquiry through to our arrival and stay. The apartment is about a 15 min walk to the metro and an easy 20 minute walk to the Vatican. It is a bit of a walk up the hill from the bus stop and the metro, so if you are walking with heavy bags, prepare yourself. We had the upstairs apartment which has an open plan kitchen dining room and lounge, separate bedroom with lots of cupboard space and bathroom with shower. There was another apartment downstairs that had a garden which looked nice. There is parking available, but you need to prebook this with Daniela as spaces are limited. Would definitely recommend this as good value for money.
What a wonderful flat in a quiet neighborhood in Rome! I traveled with my parents and my 5 year old son and had such a wonderful time. We didn't arrive until midnight and Daniela was so flexible and waited to walk us through the unit. It is fully equipped with washer, microwave, stove, heater, and air conditioner. She has directions and practical information such as where the grocery stores are and prices for public transportation printed and posted in the unit. Very helpful.
The unit is less then a 5 minute walk to either a bus to the metro or to another bus stop with connection into the center of the city. It is about a 15 minute walk to Vatican City as well. I highly recommend this unit. Extremely clean and the host is exceedingly kind! Thank you Daniela!!
The flat is neat, tidy and very tranquil in very well positioned in residential area in central Rome. The property is detached, walll enclosed building comprise of 2 flats only (and not some huge apartment block!!).
Splendid Vatican is within 15 min walk from the flat.
The owner is the most cordial and charming lady.
In the area I recommend: "Feliziani" catering for breakfast and lunch - good, homely food, "Angelo del Gelato" for the ice-cream and famous Via Cola di Rienzo for clothes shopping.
We very much enjoyed our Roman holidays!! Thank you, Daniela.
Me and my wife have chosen this apartment to spend our honeymoon in late October and it was just perfect. Apartment is very well equipped, is clean, spacious and comfortable. Situated in a residential area not packed with tourists and with Vatican within walking distance, it has an excellent location for exploring Rome. The small outside space in front of the entrance is perfect for enjoying the morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with your beloved someone. And the most important, colaboration with Signora Daniela was excellent; she was a very warm and helpful host.
Thank you a lot Signora Daniela ! We had a great time in Rome in Casa Gioli ! :D
My wife and I just returned from a five day stay in Rome. We chose this property because of it's location an the many positive reviews that had been posted by former tenants. Daniela was a perfect host and the apartment was very clean and well cared for.It was just a short walk down the hill to the subway or thousands of great restaurants. The Gelato shop down the block also got lots of our Euros. This was a perfect end to our month in Italy and a very good value for the euro!!!
The Prati neighbourhood arose in the 19th century on the meadows that stretched from the banks of the Tiber towards the left, behind the Castel Sant’Angelo. Back then, Romans still had much difficulty crossing the river. Once bridges across the river were built, Prati's geometrically-shaped house blocks were so close to the historical city centre that they soon became a part of it. Today, the neighbourhood is among the most popular residential areas in the city. It is home to theatres, cinemas, restaurants, and the famous Cola di Rienzo shopping street. At the end of the Cola di Rienzo, across the river Tiber, lies the Piazza del Popolo, from which another renowned shopping street, the Via del Corso, starts. The Vatican, including Saint Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museum, can be reached by foot.
