Overview:

Teton Shadows is a two bedroom + loft, two and a half bathroom townhome located inside the Grand Teton National Park. This property is truly in the shadows of the Teton mountain range and borders the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club. Teton Shadows is also just a short drive from Jackson’s Town Square.

This unit sits in a truly unique location given its proximity to the abundance of wilderness and alpine areas found in Jackson Hole and the national parks, allowing our visitors to step away and simultaneously enjoy the adventure and tranquility of this special region. When staying at Teton Shadows, you’re right inside Grand Teton National Park, just a few miles from where the bison roam, yet only ten minutes to the quaint, historic town of downtown Jackson. With two decks, a balcony, and a creek that seasonally runs through the property, our guests have an incomparable vantage point for taking in the outstanding views, breathing in the crisp mountain air, and simply enjoying the magnificence and beauty of the region.

The townhome is well-equipped with a large kitchen and living area as well as ample seating, both around the table and in front of the fireplace and flat screen TV. The master bedroom includes a fireplace and an exterior balcony that faces the Sleeping Indian mountain. The second bedroom has a large attached bathroom on par with the master bath in size and amenities. The loft, or the “adventure room,” is a great place for kids as it features three twin beds and plenty of space for playing. *This area is accessed by a ladder and it is important to note that, for safety reasons, we do not recommend using the ladder for our guests with mobility issues or by very small children.*

Any trip to the Jackson Hole area should be a memorable one. Teton Shadows only adds to the experience that is Jackson Hole, given its combination of location, convenience, and comfort.

Walk-Through:

From the parking place directly in front of the unit, you’ll reach the front door by crossing the main deck. Upon entering the unit, you will see the kitchen on your left, stairs leading to the bedrooms on the right, and the living and dining areas straight ahead. The L-shaped kitchen includes an attached half bath. The deck can be accessed from the living room through a sliding glass door, from which our guests can view a seasonal stream trickling by. At the top of the stairs you’ll find the ladder leading to the adventure room. To your left you’ll enter the master bedroom which hosts a fireplace and the master bath. Adjacent to the master bedroom is the second bedroom and an attached, spacious bathroom.

Bedroom Configurations:

Master Bedroom - Featuring a western-styled, king-sized bed that is topped with 300-thread count sheets, a lightweight comforter and extra pillows. The master bedroom also has a fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and its own private balcony that faces the Sleeping Indian mountain.

Second Bedroom - Featuring a queen-sized bed with a large attached bathroom. The room also hosts vaulted ceilings and generous floor space.

The Adventure Room - This area is accessed by a ladder and is fully enclosed. We only recommended this area for children or adults who are comfortable with climbing a ladder. This room is furnished with three twin-sized beds and has abundant space for playing in its secluded setting. The ceilings in this area are slightly lower which also makes this room more suitable for children.

Kitchen & Dining - The kitchen has an L-shaped floor plan, an arrangement that allows whomever may be cooking to remain part of the party. The attached half bath adds additional convenience for everyone on the main level and also houses the washer and dryer. If you plan on utilizing either the front or back decks, the kitchen provides easy access to any. Just a few steps from the kitchen is the front deck access, and just past the dining and living areas is the back deck access.

Teton Shadows is located in Grand Teton National Park, adjacent to the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club and just minutes from downtown Jackson Hole. This unit is in close proximity to everything people come to Jackson Hole to do and see, whether that's visiting the National Parks, playing a round of golf with the Tetons in sight, hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, or photographing wildlife, Teton Shadows is in the middle of it all. Additionally, the services at the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club are available nearby if you’d like to enjoy their fine-dining restaurant and extensive wine list after a round of golf.

Wonderful location, pleasant condo

We (4 adults & one 2 year old grandchild) enjoyed the location close to the airport and well situated between Grand Teton National Park and the town of Jackson, WY. The condo units were very quite and pleasant. The master bedroom and bath were very spacious and nice. The second bedroom and bath worked but was a bit tight for two adults. The loft would work well for older kids able to safely climb up&down the ladder. The condo didn't feel that a family owned and periodically lived in it as there was nothing to indicate private ownership nor personal interest to welcome guests - for example nothing provided about use of the Golf & Tennis club, nothing about favorite restaurants or places to visit - just general info that the realty company puts together for all their rentals. Unfortunately, we found also several minor issues (shower fixture barely working, ground fault circuit breaker in kitchen tripping periodically, water stains on walls in master bedroom closet, etc.) with items in the house that should be addressed - note sent to realty company.

Clean, quiet, comfortable!

The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable just the way we like it. The location outside of town was perfect. Everything worked, we cooked several meals and grilled on the deck. We would go back to this place, and easy choice.

Great Condo with Lots of Space

Seven healthy seniors stayed in this great condo. Three male friends in their early 70's used the loft with ease. All the beds were comfortable. The location was great, and the condo was spotless. The kitchen was large and well-stocked. It was a wonderful experience.

Great family vacation.

This is a very beautiful location. It is out of the hustle and bustle of Jackson but close enough that you can go if you want to. It was a great base to start our exploration of the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Only comment that I have is, laundry services were a nice feature, but placement of cabinets make the washer hard to use.

It is something we have looked into being part of a renovation in the future. Teton Shadows is nicely located between Jackson and the National Parks allowing for a feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle but a short drive to grab dinner or shop downtown.

Nice Place to Stay

4 adults stayed here from May 13th thru May 16th. The townhouse is very nice in a great neighborhood. Kitchen was very well stocked with all the pots, pans and dishes we would ever need. It is near the airport and about 10 minutes from downtown Jackson. Very happy with our selection of this property. The adventure looked great, we just did not have anyone to use it. It would be awesome for kids.

Very nice stay and we would stay again:)

My family and I recently stayed at the Teton Shadows property and had a lovely stay. We were greeted with a warm and easy welcome to the home. The heaters were on and the house was ready to go. It was very clean and well stocked with everything that was promised. I disagree with the review by Diane. Everything that was promised was delivered. It was also made very clear to us about the loft. We would definitely stay at this home and with this property management company again:)
