St. Johns River Waterfront

Bedrooms 2
Property type mobile home
Minimum Stay 3 nights

About the property

Mobile Home, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 5)

Recently renovated two-bedroom mobile home directly on the St. Johns River. Bring your boat, too, and park it right behind the house at our brand-new dock!

Guys - enjoy a day fishing in the Bass capital of the world. Crappie and Blue Gill are also caught in abundance! Seven Sisters Islands, locally known as a fishing hotspot, are right in your backyard! Seasonal shrimping and blue crabbing, too.

Golf - Palatka Golf Club is nearby and waiting to challenge you with its Donald Ross designed course. Additional golf adventures can be found at the World Golf Village near St. Augustine, with its legendary King & Bear or Slammer & Squire courses, and the notable World Golf Hall of Fame museum.

Ladies - while the guys are fishing or golfing, how about a shopping trip to the St. Augustine Prime Outlet malls? After shopping, enjoy the afternoon in historic St. Augustine, only 36 country miles away. Be sure to tour the Castillo de San Marcos, which dates back to 1695. Stroll around the old shoppes downtown, or travel over the Bridge of Lions to beautiful Anastasia Island beach. On Sundays, be ready for an afternoon of BINGO at the community's clubhouse.

Nearby Palatka offers a full range of shopping and dining. On the way, make sure to stop by Corkie Bells Restaurant for some fantastic classic-Florida-style seafood on the river. Plan on visiting Ravine Gardens State Park during Azalea season, perhaps enjoying a picnic on the grounds. Another must-do is a stop at Angels Drive-In Diner, billed as Florida's oldest and dating back to 1932.

Like Wine? The area boasts two wineries, the Log Cabin Farm, Vineyard & Winery in Satsuma, and San Sebastian Winery in St. Augustine.

Got a motorcycle (or want one)? Destination Daytona including Daytona Harley-Davidson is only 43 country miles away. Enjoy motorsports? Daytona International Speedway, home of the Daytona 500, is only 54 miles away.

Grandkids coming for a visit? Well, if you really MUST leave the tranquility of your riverfront retreat, you'll be happy to know that Disney, Universal Studios, Seaworld, and all the other central Florida attractions are only around 100 miles away.

Now, doesn't this sound better than shoveling snow all winter?

Why Ron & Darra VanAlstyne chose Satsuma

There is so much more to Florida than Disney World and the beach. The St. Johns River offers a glimpse into what Florida used to be, with great fishing, birdwatching, scenery.

What makes this mobile home unique

Enjoy a day on the river in your boat, and then dock it right behind the house at our brand new dock. Fish, shrimp, or crab right from the dock. After a day on the water, enjoy a barbeque on the gas grill. Then, how about cocktails in the screened-in porch while watching the sun set over Seven Sisters Islands.

Exactly what we needed!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay! The home had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The weather didn't help us with the fishing, but if

It was easy it would be called catching.. WE will definitely be back.

Bass fishing at it's finest! Park your boat on the dock right behind the house. Also, crabbing, shrimping (seasonal). Bird watching right from the deck overlooking the river.
