Just a few steps to beach without a road to cross between you and the sand, enjoy this one bedroom, second floor, family-friendly, beach-block Summer Sands condominium in Wildwood Crest - one of the best locations in the town voted Best Beach in New Jersey. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower, take a dip in one of two swimming pools, relax on one of the five verandas, and barbeque on one of six gas grills. While the condo sleeps 6, it is most ideal for 4 people. Though the building is on the beach, this unit is not ocean view from inside. Enjoy the beach itself during the day and an ocean view from any of the common decks at night.

As evening falls, take advantage of the world famous Wildwood Boardwalk or take in the nightlife. Historic Cape May is 15 minutes south while the excitement of Atlantic City is just a 30-minute drive north. The free Cape May Zoo, Sunset Lake, fishing trips, water activities, and plenty of restaurants will insure that you never run out of things to do or places to eat.

grate stay in wildwood crest

grate clean place in wildwood crest. i have to say probably the best parking spot in the hole complex and very nice staff. also grate location for the wildwood trolly system. I will stay hear agent.

Black mold all throughout wall unit air conditioner.

The location of the condo itself is very good. But our whole vacation was overshadowed by black mold being present in the unit we rented. We were very disappointed with our stay. We had a major issue towards the end of our vacation. My wife who is 6 months pregnant was sneezing and coughing all week. So I decided to check the air conditioner and what I found was very disturbing. The black mold inside and outside the air conditioner wall unit was spread everywhere. I took it upon myself to go buy cleaning supplies and most importantly bleach and clean the unit myself. I told my wife to leave for a few hours with our toddler. I have all the picture to prove it. I contacted Andrea at the front desk to let her know and showed her the pictures. She was left speechless. She told me to contact Bruce ASAP who happens to be the owner of the management company that manages Summer Sands. I haven't done so yet but intend to. This is not acceptable to me, nor my pregnant wife and our 2 year old.

Owner's Response: It is unfortunate that someone with whom you tried to work closely with leading up to the stay would write such a review. The guest would be arriving quite late on the day of check-in. I worked with him to outline what he needed to do if the office was closed at the time of his arrival. He then stayed in the unit for the week without expressing a single concern. He certainly knew how to get in touch with me. Ten days after check out, he sent me a message about an issue with the air conditioner. I immediately asked the cleaning company to return to check it out and called an A/C repair company to make sure there was no mechanical issue with the unit. Both responded within hours. I also apologized to the guest for the problem and asked what I could do to make it right (several times). He proposed no solution, but instead sent increasingly angry emails and text messages. He also shared that he is an owner on VRBO so he must understand that to address concern, it is important to let the owner know about it. As an owner, I constantly update the unit with upgrades and try to keep it in pristine condition. Of course, there can always be a mechanical issue in an A/C unit or any other appliance. If that happens, I address it ASAP to make the guest's stay comfortable. In this case, I was not advised of the issue until 10 days after check out. Not one guest prior or after this guest raised a similar concern. As soon as I knew about this, it was addressed. I visited the unit myself. There is not one speck of mold anywhere. This review would have been fair had I ignored a concern or failed to respond. Neither was the case. It is difficult, however, to "make it right" when I was not advised of the issue until 10 days after he completed his full stay.

The condo was everything we had expected and more! Perfect for my family of 5! Scott was quick to respond to any questions I had regarding booking the property. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! The staff in the management office were extremely pleasant also. We had such a fantastic time and can't wait to be back!!!

Great place to stay!!!!

I have been staying at the same unit in Summer Sands for 3 years now. This unit is clean, updated and steps away from the beautiful beach!! The owner redid the unit two years ago and since then got another new couch and chair. It is not outdated. He takes great care of the unit. There is plenty of room for us. He always responds to any emails I send him. We are very happy there! We look forward to our yearly trip!!!

The owner, Scott, was incredibly helpful and very quick to respond about any issues or questions. The apartment is a moments walk from a quiet, beautiful beach and around a 5 minute car drive to the Boardwalk. And only 15 minutes or so to Cape May and Stone Harbor! The apartment is small, but clean and reasonably priced which was all we needed! Thanks for a great stay.
