The best beach experience Mexico has to offer.
(note, the map on VRBO is incorrect. We cannot get them to correct it. The compound is right on the beach just north of the river)
Sayulita is an old fishing village in the heart of the Mexican Riviera. Its an easy town to get to, and the beach is amazing. Whether you're coming for the surf, the old mexico experience, or an amazing relaxing beach vacation, Sayulita has it all.
This house is of the old mexican style. An open floor plan where the bedrooms all open to the outside, as well as the kitchen. The place sleeps 6 comfortably as there are 3 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. There are also two different patios and the ocean/beach views are amazing.
We have a shared pool with the other 5 houses in the compound, but it is very private and rarely crowded.
The house has all you need for a great stay. The kitchen is fully equiped if you chose to cook your meals. There are also beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels to make your beach experience complete.
We don't have a TV as its important to the family to truly get away from it all while we are there. We have a good library of used books, games, cards, and of course, the beach! We do have wifi, as we realize its impossible to totally unplug!
We do have A/C in the large master bedroom. This room is large enough to move a table/chairs if you want A/C during the day.

The Bollinger Family purchased this house for the entire family to use and enjoy. They all love this area of Mexico and are excited to share it with you.

Once you come to Sayulita, you'll understand
The best of Mexico, relaxing beaches, amazing restaurants, a unique experience.
we moved into Casa B, as planned -- after having had most of our cash stolen from another somewhat nearby rental! So we were a little cautious -- but came to realize that there is little or no reason for caution at Casa B -- we felt secure, yet open to the outdoors, and great proximity to the beach. Casa B is part of the Los Gemelos complex (6, i think, privately-owned houses) all within the same compound, sharing the same nice pool (with shallow wading area for the young ones (and "Pico" the dog)). Yes, we basically had no reason for caution at Casa B -- there was a security guard on the premises at night.
If you plan to vacation and not interact with others in the area -- then maybe Los Gemelos (including Casa Bollinger) might not be for you. The lay-out of the "complex" is such that you will encounter the other guests and residents. While we were there we talked with and almost all the others, knew where they were from, had tips where to shop and eat and drive to, etc.
Again, Playa Sayulita is right in front of you -- and Casa B is situated ideally with respect to the beach -- in that you can walk to the left (southerly) into increasing crowded and active areas (the larger hotels and resorts and "down-town" is that way) -- or walk up northerly (right) for a more isolated beach experience. The beach (when we were there, February) is kind of a bazaar or circus -- lots of stuff going on -- frolicking in the surf, SURFING, just plain lying in the sun, frisbie -- and lots of dogs. Dogs are kind of an auxiliary class of citizen(s) in Sayulita. You'll see why.
The actual premises includes three bedrooms each with bath, a small-ish kitchen, a separate large room/cabana -- big enough for everyone to eat or play cards together -- and the interior 'courtyard' as well.
The beach is very close to the house. The beach is a perfect beach for relaxing, sitting in the sun, walking, running, surfing, swimming. The house has beach chairs, umbrellas, and the beach experience here is the best in Mexico. The only thing between the house and the beach, at Las Gemelas, is the pool!
