Our Nantucket style luxurious residence is located in South Hyannis at the end of a quiet, private way. Just steps from our home, you’ll feel the sand between your toes on an expansive, private sandy beach isolated between two public beaches - Kalmus and Keyes (Sea St), both within walking distance. This is Nantucket Sound/Hyannis Harbor, one of the most popular windsurfing areas in the Northeast. The ocean water is warm, calm and shallow - terrific for young children and families. Dine and relax in the comfort of a central air-conditioned home with second floor kitchen, eat-in area and family room or enjoy the spectacular, picturesque views of the ocean, Great Island, passing ferries and the abutting freshwater pond from the third level sun room and deck. Comfortable new furniture and beds, large windows and an open, architecturally-detailed floor plan are designed to enhance captivating views and create an airy, uplifting ambiance to relax and unwind.
Prepare meals in the sun-filled, fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counters and island, Sub-zero refrigerator and five burner cook top or take advantage of some of the Cape's finest restaurants just minutes away (or delivered to our door step). Our home provides luxury accommodations and is impeccably clean. WiFi enabled, so bring your wireless laptop if you need to check in at the office! It's a perfect, family holiday or vacation get-away to escape to the tranquility of sandy beaches and soothing ocean sounds.
We take the time to meet our guests and walk them through the house so they are comfortable with the set-up. We will also share our knowledge of the Cape and Islands so you can maximize your enjoyment and take advantage of the Cape's unique attractions.
Jim purchased this house in 2002
Centrally located to take advantage of all that Cape Cod has to offer. Our location is within 10 minutes of anything you would need - shopping, restaurants, museums, games, activities. Equidistant to Falmouth or Provincetown. Cape Cod Bay is only 15 minutes away. 1 mile to ferries, Main Street shopping and restaurants, ice cream, Kennedy Compound and more.
We welcome, but don't solicit, guest comments. We keep a "Guest Book" at the house which is filled with wonderful testimonials collected over the years. The most frequent comment - "the pictures don't do justice to the beauty of your home and your wonderful beach location." And our greatest testimonial - the families that return to our home year after year! Many thanks.
This house was the best. The many decks allowed for unsurpassed sunrise and sunset viewing. One day we saw the most gorgeous rainbow... a full arc. The house is set slightly away from the beach; but close enough that we could allow my three year old niece to run down by herself. the Beach itself was perfection. Many nights after dinner, we ran down to enjoy the evening breezes.
We had meant to go out to dinner at the Capes many restaurants; instead we cooked or got lobsters from Cape fish and ate in every evening. We biked, swam, and went running through the beautiful neighborhood. We got theater tickets to the Cape Playhouse production of "Hello Dolly" and it was fantastic.
There was one tiny issue; but the only reason I mention it is to applaud the response by the owners. They were so caring and easy to work with. BELIEVE me we were sad to go! All the bathrooms were GREAT, the house was a knockout; and the house had everything, beach chairs, toys, sunscreen, towels.
This choice was a winner!
Four couples wanted to stay on the Cape after a weekend reunion in Boston. The home is beautiful, well appointed, perfectly located with a great view and a private beach. It accommodated all 8 of us in comfort. The home also has two decks and several sitting areas, giving everyone their space. Lastly the owner could not have been more gracious and accommodating to our requests. A great time was had by all.
Jim,
My family and I had a wonderful time at your beautiful beach house. It was just the right size for our group.
All of the furnishings were done beautifully and we wanted for absolutely nothing. We enjoyed sitting around the table on the deck and we enjoyed the marvelous view of the beach and ocean, just steps away from the house. Your private beach was lovely and it was a great place to take a walk, look for shells, or to sit and read.
I look forward to some day returning to your home with my family again or with a bunch of friends.
I 'highly' recommend your home to anyone looking for a Cape Cod rental!!!
Thanks again,
Suzanne
