About Katy Meinbresse

Leif is a Montana native and Katy moved here from Tennessee 5 years ago when Leif refused to leave Big Sky Country.

Katy Meinbresse purchased this House in 2008

Why Katy Meinbresse chose Seeley Lake

Leif first fell in love with Seeley 10 years ago while working for the Forest Service. He bought an acre as soon as he could and soon we were building a house!

What makes this House unique

Our house is perfect for a relaxing weekend in a rural setting, or as a jumping off point for day trips to nearby lakes and mountains.

                                                            • Large yard with fire pit, horseshoes and picnic table. Good cell phone service. Borders millions of acres of public lands. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and hiking from the backdoor! We want to be clear about the yard so that guests are not expecting a mowed, landscaped space - it is natural with wild grasses, wild flowers and pine trees. Great for kids, playing and cooking outside. It abuts public land with space for walking and viewing nature.

                                                              Clean cabin in Seeley Lake.

                                                              Matthew T.

I went to Seeley Lake for a snowmobiling trip with one other person and the cabin was perfect. Its convenient to town and very close to the trail system. Everything you need is at the cabin except for food. The wood stove works great and there was plenty of firewood and kindling. Katy responded immediately to all my questions and was very accommodating and flexible. I will be staying at this cabin again on the next Seeley trip.

It was quiet, well-stocked, and easily accessible to town. The boot warmer sure came in handy.

                                                              Quaint, cozy, and comfortable

We loved it! The cabin was clean and spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. Would definitely go there again. :)

Very clean. Enough supplies for everyone. Homey and comfortable.

My family enjoyed staying here. It is so much better than a motel room. And it was close to my brothers cabin. Thank you

We needed to find a cabin in the Seeley Lake area for our family to stay during the State golf tournament. This cabin was perfect. The weather was cool and wet so needed to spend a lot of time indoors. The cabin was spacious and we used the warm environment as a meeting place to feed our golf team and their parents. The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Extra wood was already cut and stocked up. Plenty of room to sleep 8 on one of the nights. Washer and dryer were useful to keep up with the wet weather. Katy was easy to communicate with if we ever had questions and very accommodating when we thought we may need to stay an extra night. This cabin and owners to work with come highly recommended in our book! Thank you for an awesome experience.
