Beautiful place to stay and enjoy life!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I truly enjoyed staying at this wonderful house for two weeks. It is a hidden treasure. Clean and well kept. Host is extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful views from second and third levels. Within walking distance from playground and some shops. Not too far of a walk to Historic Harpers Ferry. This area and its rivers are amazing.

Wonderful experience in Harper's Ferry.

  • 5 of 5

The house is cozy and very clean, with little details that demonstrate the care the hosts put into the home, like napkins and paper flatware. But the best part is the location and the hosts, The Eastman's. If you want to go to the flea markets, they'll invite you along early on a Saturday morning. Tubing? You'll get an invite to tube with their family. If you want to hike the AT, Erik will tell you where the best places to park are. If you just want to explore the town, it's a quick walk without the hassle of trying to find a parking spot. We will return!

Very clean property but lacking in charm

  • 4 of 5

Very clean and tidy home. The owner was there to greet us and could not have been nicer. I do think it is good for families to know that there is no main living space. The bottom floor consists of a kitchen and small table but there is no living room for a family to gather in. There is a couch in the upstairs bedroom with a lovely view. I suppose you could walk into Harpers Ferry but it would be a long walk! I would suggest to the owner that he add some charm to this home. While it is very clean and neat, there is nothing to reflect the history that is Harpers Ferry. Plain white walls with no pictures or memorabilia have all the charm of a boring hotel room. Certainly satisfactory but could be so much more interesting!. Had a great stay overall. Thanks for sharing your property with my family and me.
