Welcome, come experience paradise with us! We would love to have you stay with us!

Diamond Reef is six and 1/2 miles north of San Pedro in a gorgeous and secluded area directly in front of the popular Mexico Rocks Reef Diving Reserve. The clear, dazzling aqua blue waters are enchanting. It’s just like a postcard!

It is very private and quiet, but by no means remote. Other Villas and resorts that share this wonderful stretch of beach, include Casa Rana (three houses south), 18 Degrees North (one lot North), Costa Maya Resort and Portofino are south and Blue Reef and X’Tan Ha North. They all have websites that you may want to check out.

Away from the hustle and bustle of town, it is quiet and safe, providing the perfect place to vacation. Diamond Reef consists of three Condos, only two of which are rented. You have the huge private beach and pier virtually to yourself. It is the perfect place for a romantic get away or for the family who doesn’t want to worry about the kids getting away. The rate includes free pickup and return when you arrive and depart from San Pedro, a daily trip in our private boat to anywhere on the Island, free WiFi, DirecTv, use of a local cell phone during your stay and complementary Kayaks.

Our private boat is at your disposal, complete with boat Captain, Alvin. Alvin is always available to take you to town or to any of the many resorts and restaurants up and down the coast of Ambergris Caye.

The Coastal Express water taxi also makes regularly scheduled stops at our pier as well, every one or two hours.

Love, love, love Diamond Reef and Ambergris Caye

  • 5 of 5

It is bittersweet that today is our last day at Diamond Reef. Our family of 5 have

had such an incredible vacation, enjoying every minute of this trip. Thank

you for sharing your Belize home with us; it has been the perfect place to

stay, relax and seek out adventures.

Alvin and Rosa are so gracious and kind. And their kids, OMGoodness, they

are precious. Alvin took such good care of us and we are so grateful.

We made new friends at X'tan Ha Waterfront Resort and hung out with our

downstairs neighbors from Huntington Beach. Shared a fishing trip with them, too!

Love, love, love everything about Ambergris Caye and Diamond Reef! Thanks

so very much!

Perfect for our family

  • 5 of 5

This condo was six miles north of the town which was nice for us because the boat traffic was minimal. My husband and I could kayak out to the Reef and enjoy the crystal blue water along the way. Our youngest loved the pool and our oldest loved fishing from the pier. The owners and Alvin and Rosa taught him to hand fish one night and he had a blast. The condo was big enough for our needs. The view from the balcony was amazing. Then there is Alvin. What can we say. He was awesome. He made sure to be available to take us into town when we needed to. He arranged tours and a golf cart rental when we asked (at a good discount I might add). My youngest left his go pro in a taxi on one of our tours and Alvin made sure we got it back. We really cannot say all the great things about this man!

Tips: there is a man who sells breakfast burritos and tamales (he rides a bike) and will come by early in the morning. They are great. Also there is a couple who sells chicken and pork with beans and rice. They will come by in a truck in the afternoons. About $4USD per plate (big plate). If you rent a cart, go to the secret beach!!! No sea grass and perfect water. We could have stayed there all day. The locals said it is packed on Sundays so we visited during the week.

Thank you Alvin for everything!!!

We will return!

Beautiful location and terrific people

  • 5 of 5

The photos don't serve justice on how beautiful these condos are. A peaceful paradise with well maintained beach, dock and condo. Both the owners and caretakers are top notch, going out of thier way to make your stay the best. Two resorts with restraunts date within a short beach walk in either direction. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This is a very special place!

  • 5 of 5

What an absolutely beautiful location and wonderful people! The house and grounds are better than described, they were quiet and comfortable, and the setting is so mellow and relaxing. Once we got out to the house, it was hard to want to do anything but sit and listen to the wind in the trees and the waves on the reef.

Alvin was always available and keeping an eye on everyone, and ready to help with any plans or to suggest activities. He took us into town several times, and arranged for an incredible snorkel trip to Shark Ray Alley. We arrived there early before anyone else, and it seemed like hundreds of sharks milling around! After a while there were only a few here and there. When another boat pulled up I felt very special to have just had such a spectacular and unforgettable experience! We then got to see some loggerhead turtles swimming (which I don’t think are on the standard snorkel route!). What a morning! The town is nice and small to wander around, with lots of unique shops, good food, and friendly helpful people. Then, returning to such a serene setting after a visit to the busy town or the local resorts was really a treat. It was very difficult to leave, and hopefully I will have the chance to go back!

Amazing vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Diamond reef was everything I had hoped for and more. The condo was perfect for my wife and I and our two friends. Alvin and his family were great, he even helped us book a few tours, we ended up saving a bit of money going through him. The beach is great, honestly is the best stretch that we have seen thus far.

Alvin was happy to drive us into town on the boat when we asked, but I personally preferred to take our golf cart. The cart allowed us to explore the whole island and the drive to town is only about 30 minutes. There are a few restaurants close by, even a grocery store a couple miles down the road, but honestly the best food is at the local stands and markets in town. Overall it has been a great vacation and we are already talking with Rick about booking our next stay!

Exciting stay!

  • 4 of 5

I say we had an exciting stay as we rode out Hurricane Earl with the owners during our stay. We were well prepared for the power outage for a few days and mopping up the water was not a huge deal. Unfortunately, the pier and palapa were destroyed. The owners and caretakers were out cleaning up everything immediately. Being long-time Alaskans, we were immune to a power outage and high winds. However, I would not have stayed for anything stronger than a category 1 storm.

The condo was minimally appointed, but comfortable. The pool was small but perfect for our 8-year old and nice for a quick dip. My only suggestions would be to outfit the kitchen and the terrace better. There were very few plastic cups and plates, with limited utensils for food prep. A couple of wine glasses would be handy. We prefer to cook, rather than eat out all the time. I also would love a hammock or lounge chairs on the terrace for comfortable gazing at the sea!

I truly hope the area has recovered from the storm. Many of the bars, palapas and docks were destroyed. We will be back!

Owner's Response: Yes, the hurricane affected us more than was expected. Although it was a category 1, the storm surges were much larger than would have been thought. Almost every pier on the Island was severely damaged, including ours. But we are back on our feet and everything is good again. We have noted the comments and are correcting them as regards the kitchen.
