Very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
It was a wonderful Christmas escape for my wife and me. Lavinia and Tom were great hosts. We enjoyed our time with them very much. I must also mention their two great dogs, Shelley and Scout. The property is truly unique and we feel fortunate to have experienced it. We plan to return sometime in the summer or early fall to enjoy it in another season.
You won't be disappointed here.
We stayed 2 nights here in October. Everything was perfect. They provided coffee and creamer for the coffee pot. A bottle of wine was waiting for us when we arrived. Thom and Lavinia were the perfect host. They both made you feel at home and you could talk to them like you have known them forever. Location was fantastic. I hope to make it back one day.
Don't pass up this Place!
Truly a magical place. Thom and Lavinia are wonderful hosts. Do yourself a favor and spend some time with them.
Thank you. Such a pleasure to share our home with such beautiful people
Thom and Lavania were so hospitable! It felt more like a bed and breakfast than a typical VBRO. The apartment was clean and comfortable. One downside was there was not wifi available in the room. We mentioned this to the owner and they stated they are not able to make it better, but you can access if you sit outside.... this is not a bad option because the porch is very quaint.
Lovely sweet little place
We have stayed in this place twice now and always look for it when we plan to head to Taos. It's a sweet quirky place on beautiful property. Deliciously comfy bed. Gracious hosts.
Thank you so much. It is a pleasure to have you both as guest. Hope to see you again soon
value and comfort
We loved this casita, and Thom and Lavinia were perfect hosts. The casita is thoughtfully and fully furnished, and since we do most of our own cooking while traveling we especially appreciated the excellent kitchen.Security was excellent - we had no problem leaving for the day. We both also work full-time (even while on vacation) using the internet so we were very happy with the high speed connection. You could not do better for a short or long term stay in Taos. You may want to inquire if the upstairs will be occupied while you are there - it was for a few days while we were there and while there was really no problem you could definitely hear people moving around. We will absolutely book again on our next visit to Taos.
