We think the royal history adds to its charm.

Everything is beautiful, great condo
Very clean, new beds great ,beautiful grounds,many flowers. Very reasonably priced. Great happy hour at Kalapake Joes. Ventures &60s music guitarist at Garden Island Grill Koloa tue& thur,..wed. Bankok grill,fri.at Kukuilula shopping ctr. A must visit next year.

Beach supplies in closet very much appreciated. ( we added some sand toys to the mix). Second bed was very comfortable. Feel that the unit is a very good value. Would have liked screens to lock for more comfortable sleeping and maybe more fans.

Great location close to Poipu beach and amenities
We had a great vacation in your apartment, there is a lot of space in its largely open plan design. We loved the large bed in the master suite. The kitchen, though quite small is well equipped and we had everything we need to cook on a number of occasions.
We were very grateful for the additional fans in the apartment, but despite that it was very hot and humid, partly due to the lack of trades during the time of our visit. An A/C unit at least in the bedroom would have been welcomed.
The apartment is on a great and mature lot that is well matained by the ground staff. The size of some of the plants have to be seen to be believed. The downside is the apartment is quite dark meaning you need lights during the day. A review of the lighting available would be worthwhile.
The location is only about a mile from the main Poipu beach and a about two from historic Koloa, both of which I can recommend. The main town of Lihue is only about 20 minutes by car and you have all the facilities you could ever need.
I have now stayed on 5 of the islands and to me Kauai is king for its maturity, great beaches and great planning controls ensuring that buildings remain in context. Within Kauai, I think the Poipu area is the best on the island being in easy reach of everything you could want.

Thanks for the review. The house rules allowing new quite A/C units is being developed. Electricity is very expensive due to it being mainly produced by oil fired generators. Solar production is minimal. When the guidelines for A/C units are approved I will find out from year around owners the added expense & feasibility. At present monthly electric costs are about $125+. The tall trees on the west side provide a lot of shade in the late afternoon. The front lanai vegetation reaches 7 to 8 ft. and may need thinning and trimming. NEW LED kitchen lights & other brighter lamps. NEW SEALY King bed set. Mahalo John
Perfect Villa for a vacation!
Our stay at the villa was exceptional. It was like a home away from home. It was roomy, cozy, and functional. There were plenty of utensils for cooking, including some spices, extra bedding, and towels. The villa is not air conditioned, but there was a fan for each room, including a ceiling fan in the bedroom and the living room. The location is so perfect. We could walk to the beach and the shopping center easily in a few minutes. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and we totally enjoyed swimming there. We appreciated the thoughtful and kind service from both the owner and the rental manager! Can't wait to visit again.

The management was very easy to communicate with and quite accommodating to our request for a late check out. We appreciated that.
Staying in this condo is like staying in your own home, just a better environment and view.

POIPU is near the small historic town of Koloa, Kauai which is south of Lihue . Exit the main road left thru the 'Tunnel of Trees' keep going straight...DON'T take the left Poipu turn ...continue south to the town of Koloa...turn RIGHT @ the yield=stop sign ..go about 1 block & turn LEFT @ the Chevron gas station...@ the round-about...it takes you right but continue 3/4 around the round-about to Poipu Road. The FIRST RIGHT is into the Waikomo parking lot. 2721 Poipu Rd. #401. Go close to the right end..West...of the lot ..the first bldg. is the 500's..walk down the interior path...next bldg. is the 400's...second stairwell on the right is 401. Out the back gate is Hoonani road..a short walk to the Sheraton Poipu beach...walk down the beach past the Waiohai time share resort to the Public Beach Park...the best swimming & Snorkeling in Poipu...to the right of the island is easy access for seniors. NO extra charge over 2 people HURRAY & BOOK NOW $200 refundable deposit...Poipu Hawaii licensed manager
