About Mike and Shelly Hall

We wanted a vacation home, a place away from the hassle of city life and be able to visit family. I grew up in Graeagle area and we love this area. My husband and I purchased this home in 2002. Since purchasing this property, it has been a vacation rental and for our use. We like how it seems to be quite area with nature around us. We are one street from Plumas Pines golf course

Mike and Shelly Hall purchased this house in 2002

Why Mike and Shelly Hall chose Plumas Eureka Estates

We had looked at a lot of different properties in different towns but we really liked this house. We like how it is close to Johnsville, a historic gold mine, which has a state park and museum. The ranger gives talks and hikes.

Graeagle has shopping, restaurants, and fine dinning, the mill pond, hiking

What makes this house unique

This whole area is unique

The Lakes Basin has dozens of fishing lakes. A lot of them, the only way to get to them is horse riding and hiking with nature around you. So much history here. There's camping. The rail road museum in Portola. Wildflower viewing. You want fine arts they are here too. Quincy 25 miles - has Town Hall Theatre, Plumas Arts Gallery in The Capitol Arts Gallery. Golfing, several 18 hole courses. Scenic drives

Relax and enjoy the quiet and peacefulness. The wildlife. This area is a walk back in time. The beautiful colors and the sound of the pine trees moving in the wind.

Senior Citizens Golf Get-a-way!

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed another golf vacation in this clean, well stocked home in a very quiet neighborhood. Although there is no air conditioning, the house is well insulated and if you open the windows at night, the house stays comfortable during the day even with the temperature rising into the 90's. The "hot spot" on our IPhone allows internet connection. Plumas Pines, Graeagle Meadows and Whitehawk Ranch golf courses are nearby.

There is a nice deck in the back where you can relax and watch the birds and deer go by. Also, a barbecue to cook on so you don't have to heat up the kitchen.

We plan to return again next year.

Great place to stay.

  • 4 of 5

Quiet location. The house looked like it had new flooring. Very clean! The living room recliners and sofa don't match, but they were very comfortable (more than other places we have stayed). We look forward to staying here again.

Great rental in a nice neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

We all enjoyed staying at this house! It was very clean, accommodated our group of four very well, and had everything anyone would need or want in a vacation home. There is a table with chairs on the deck opening to a private and large back yard. The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly to specific questions I had. I would highly recommend this rental.
