About The Owner

After vacationing throughout Colorado for both summer and winter seasons over the past decade, we decided on Breckenridge for our permanent family vacation home. The area is complete for all of our needs and activities.

It is a wonderful place to bring your family for quality adventures and time together. We spend weeks here in the summer hiking, rafting, fishing and cycling while in the winter, the skiing is some of the best you will find. We picked Breck and this house specifically because of the location and the services provided by the Town. With the bus stops only 2 min walk from the garage, and running every 20 min, we are often on the chair within 30 min of gearing up! Walking to town for dinner or lunch is often a family event, and the charm of town takes over as soon as you step foot on Main Street. The new SkiVue Market on Ridge St provides wholesome, natural food selections and eliminates the need for a car.

This is our second home, and we hope you will enjoy it as we do.

The Owner purchased this house in 2011

Why The Owner chose Historic District

We love the convenience of the Breckenridge Free Ride bus system from this house (see the Townofbreckenridge website for info and the schedule/map; our stops are Powder Ridge, Breckenridge Mountain Village and The Atrium) and the short 5 min walk to Main Street.

What makes this house unique

Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the ski runs and Peaks 6 to 10 from the kitchen, family room, master bedroom and 2nd bedroom. Teenagers love the downstairs den while adults enjoy the open views and main living space. Easily accomodates two families. You will feel as though you are in home in the mountains, not crammed in a condo or hotel property.

Waking up to snow covered views of the Ten Mile Range inspires you to get out there and conquer the mountain, whether on skis or on a hike. Breck is one of the greatest places to enjoy scenery, activities, culture and people, and being conveniently located in the center of it all is where to be.

Good for large group

  • 4 of 5

Went with a group of 9 friends and the house was more than spacious enough. Shuttle pickup/dropoff is less than a 2 minute walk. 5-10 minute walk from downtown. Quiet neighborhood. Garage was a nice benefit to store ski equipment. Would stay here again.

Ski weekend

Great place! Easy walk to shuttle, great location for easy access downtown. The place itself was great. Stunning views, awesome stocked kitchen, and living area and sleeping suitable for a group. Nice sized garage for ski/snowboard gear. No issues during our stay and the owner was more than easy to work with! Definitely recommended.

Excellent Accomodations

  • 5 of 5

The house we stayed in for the weekend was excellent. The living area is very large as well as a large kitchen to accommodate cooking for a large family. The house is great if you want to stay in and cook for a night or go out for dinner in town as it is within a 5 minute walk to Main Street Breck. There is even a large deck with a grill for when it is nice enough outside. We had no issues during our stay and would definitely be interested in coming back in the future. I would recommend for families with small children or teenagers, as well as large groups of friends looking to spend time on the mountain. Thanks!

Beautiful home, excellent location - 5 star experience!

  • 5 of 5

My family just had a mini reunion at this amazing home! Working with the owners was a breeze leading up to our weekend. The information they provided was spot on and the home was perfect! The layout is perfect for a group of people. Between my parents, brothers and a few grandkids, we were all very comfortable. The location is just a quick walk from the base of Peak 9 and we walked to/from the mountain each day. Not to mention the short walk to town, coffee, ski rentals, and more. We could not have asked for a better home to have our family reunion at and we are already planning our next visit!

Wonderful family holiday getaway!!! Great place and location

  • 5 of 5

Great house with plenty of room and amenities for a family of six. The owners were wonderful to work with and highly responsive. We felt right at home and loved "living" In the mountains and feeling part of Breck for our holidays vacation.

Location to town and bus service was a breeze and coming home to a warm fire and comfortable home after skiing made it special. We enjoyed being so close to town yet away from the hustle and bustle.

Breck Escape

  • 4 of 5

This house has a great location, right on the shuttle circuit and close to town. It is modern, clean with a nice kitchen and great flat screen TV's. The owners were highly responsive and friendly. I would say the only downside was the towels are all kid-sized! Besides that, this house is ideal for groups looking to ski Breck!
