About the property

Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)

This wonderful luxury one-bedroom apartment (70 square meters) has been redesigned by an architect and is owned by a French decorator whose design flair features prominently in the interior.

The apartment looks out over a tree-filled courtyard garden. Upon entering the apartment, you are immediately in the spacious living room, which also contains a contemporary open kitchen and a dining area.

The large living room features two full-length, double-glazed French windows for a bright, airy and quiet ambiance. As one would expect, the room is beautifully decorated, with a controlled use of warm colors. Seating is comfortable and generous, with one sofa and several armchairs. The shelves of books and original artwork bring a wonderfully cultured feel. It's a room you will be glad to come home to after a long day out.

About Owner/Property Manager (Paris)

For the past 15 years, as a property manager, we have assisted and served many guests in creating timeless memories through our different apartments rentals. We take pride in our stunning repertoire of properties suited for both long and short term rentals and in our expertise of catering to our guest's needs. We offer unique services, with the aim to enhance your rental experience. Our team of concierges are locally-based and ready to assist you before and during your stay.

Why Owner/Property Manager (Paris) chose Bonne-Nouvelle

We love that this apartment has everything Parisian about it within a close radius.

The best names in fashion can be found at the nearby Place des Victories, designed by Place Vendome's Hardouin Mansart.

Metro access to the Louvre and other tourist sites are also very convenient for the time that you will be here.

The Montorgueil street is known for its lively and colorful open-air market, which we feel is the essence of authentic Parisian life where we love going to shop for fresh ingredients and speak with the vendors about their produce.

(PS: Queen Elizabeth was taken here on her visit to Paris in 2004 to celebrate the centenary of the 'Entente Cordial'. Apparently, she loved the cakes from the famed Stohrer bakery, where you may find yourself on many a morning.)

What makes this apartment unique

The quiet courtyard that the apartment looks over (if you are lucky you can hear the birds chirping!) is one of the best qualities of the open-plan, spacious, living room. Ladies will love the walk-in wardrobe area, which is such a luxury for Paris! We hope you will like the apartment's well thought-out layout, and modern amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher, cable TV, wifi, free calls to France landlines, US and Canada mobiles and landlines).

Perfect location. Very central. Montorgueil street was so much fun. Welcome2France was very efficient . Everything went so smoothly right from being picked up at the airport to check out. Valentine was especially helpful.

Great apartment & perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

Great apartment! Perfect location, so close to the Metro with easy access to all the sites & plenty of restaurants & cafes to choose from in just around the corner. The apartment was clean, light & airy just like the pictures. From the windows, you can get a nice view of a peaceful courtyard, hard to believe we were centrally located in Paris. The walk-in wardrobe was such a surprise! We had a fabulous stay in Paris, thank you!

Very nice apartment!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely apartment was exactly what we were looking for to end our Summer holiday. Clean, spacious, private, bright and comfortable. We were also provided some useful information about directions, dining suggestions and activities which was very helpful. The queen bed was the most comfortable bed I slept on over my holiday! One thing to consider before booking this apartment is that it is located on the second level (no lift) but that was not an issue for us and shouldn't prevent you from staying here.

I would stay in this apartment again

  • 5 of 5

I have been choosing to rent apartments for many years instead of staying in hotels when I go on a holiday. I do this because I like to be able to cook for myself and not be obligated to dine out for every meal. That way when I do dine out it is still a treat. I also really love the challenge of trying to cook food that is local to the place that I am vacationing.

Paris is such a great place for great ingredients and this particular apartment was so well located for food shopping. It is half a block from Montorgueil street which has many many choices for every food need. There are many produce stands, multiple cheese stores, boulangeries, meat stores, and wine shops all along this street. And if you go another block it repeats again. There are also many hip restaurants close by and we tried several and found all to be very good to exceptional. There is Thai, Japanese, Chinese, hamburgers and Pizzarias as well as more traditional Paris sidewalk cafes.

So, location is everything and this one is about the most favorite I have ever stayed. In addition to all the food choices it's also located within easy walking distance of many of the main Paris attractions, such as the Lourve, and Nortre Dame Cathederal. If modern art is your thing, the Pompediu Center is also close by. We tried it but weren't too thrilled with the modern art after seeing all the classic art in museums in Italy and then Paris. But it may be of interest to some.

The apartment itself is well equipped with just about anything you might need and we were very happy with our stay in that respect too. It's a large apartment on an inner courtyard so it's very quiet and peaceful and was easy to sleep at night. The layout was great for us with the kitchen being open to the living room and dining area. This is a great design and would be easy to share with other guests. I was just with my wife, but if two couples or a family used this I think they would appreciate that too.

The rental company communicated very well and everything was really well explained and documented both on the web sites and when we arrived. We had useful notebooks and instructions for everything and had no need to ask any questions at all after we arrived. The nice greeter Sam was right on time to greet us on arrival and made sure we had everything in order on our departure as well. He was friendly and helpful and although we didn't need anything while we were in the apartment, he made sure we had

Great Paris apartment

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I loved staying in this apartment - it was big, modern, clean and safe. The area is just fabulous. Minutes walk to the metro and rue montorgueil with its boulangeries, wine shops We rented through Welcome2France and can not fault them - Sam (Paris based representative) was fantastic. Prompt, courteous and very helpful when contacted for advice. Alicia was helpful with emails about the apartment etc. Hats off to Welcome2France. Will definitely book with them in the future and already are recommending this apartment to our friends.

My husband and I loved this apartment. It is large, comfortable and very agreeably designed. The location is also very enjoyable with everything you need to see and so very close at hand. The rue montorgueil is a fantastic place to eat and shop.

Car: not necessary

The Montorgueil street is known for its lively and colorful open-air market.

A stone's throw from the Louvre and the Seine, you cannot beat the central location of this Paris apartment rental. The neighbouring pedestrian Quartier Montorgueil embodies the essence of authentic Parisian life and has been called the 'new urban village' of Paris. One of the capital's most colorful market streets, it is home to some of its best restaurants, cafes and food shops.

(Indeed, Queen Elizabeth was paraded here on her visit to Paris in 2004 to celebrate the centenary of the 'Entente Cordial'. Apparently, she loved the cakes from the famed Stohrer bakery, where you may find yourself on many a morning.)

The adjacent Place des Victories, designed by Place Vendome's Hardouin Mansart, forms an intimate circle around a statue of Louis XIV and today is dedicated to the designer names of fashion.

This apartment is also walking distance from the renowned Centre Cultural Georges Pompidou, or Beaubourg, which contains Paris' Museum of Modern Art. Another asset of this location is the closeness of Paris' most important monuments and tourist points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, and the majestic Tuileries gardens.

Only a stone's throw away are the Seine river and its delightful islands, the Ile de la Cite, home of Notre Dame Cathedral, and Ile Saint Louis, where a 'petit café' can be enjoyed at leisure. This location is ideal for a Paris apartment rental whether it is for short term stay or long term stay.
