Fabulous place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Big Sky Montana to ski.

We rented a condo at the Shoshone lodge and we were not disappointed.

The condo was fully furnished with all the amenities we would possibly need. The king size mattress was unbelievably comfortable. Our condo had 2 full bathrooms. The condo was within walking distance to the slopes. The owner, Eunice ,was delightful to work with and a few weeks before we arrived, she sent me , via email, a complete packet which was so helpful. I would absolutely recommend this lodge as well as working with Eunice.

MIchaelangelo and Olive B's were two excellent restaurants we went to for dinner.

Nice roomy condo!

  • 4 of 5

Great condo with plenty of room for 4+ people. 2 fullsize bathrooms make life easier for multiple people. All rooms are spacious, not cramped. Murphy bed in the living room is actually a good bed, unlike many.

Very slanted stove elements and extremely dull knives make cooking a chore. Large, electric griddle was very nice to have.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. Housekeeping will be more careful when they clean the stove to put the burners back correctly, and Maintenance will replace the knives.

Excellent

  • 5 of 5

Big Sky was wonderful although there were wildfires throughout Montana so the big sky wasn't so blue. The condo was excellent! Very clean condo and property. Small things; kitchen towel and pot holders were dirty. (I know I said very clean but it was except for this) could use more than 1 kitchen towel. I don't know how the carpet stays so clean as it is a rental and the kitchen table sits on it but it was nice. Pool was great and just the right temp., no broken furniture and lots of towels. This condo is in a ski village at the top of a slightly windy road off the main highway. The Roxy market is very expensive but close. Drove down to Costco in Bozeman for some more groceries. Best place we ate at was the Gallatin Riverhouse Grill. Really great BBQ, adirondack chairs out by fire pit, live band, cornhole toss. Everyone welcome, families, vacationers and locals present. Went river rafting which was fun but there is only about 2-3 feet of water at this time of year. They say that they go till the end of sept.! I don't think I would go any later that mid Aug. due to low water levels. Great trip over all.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay. I will make sure the kitchen towel and pot holders are replaced and hope future guests will ask my housekeeper for replacements during their stay.

Love big sky

  • 5 of 5

There are two things I would suggest....the bed needs a fitted sheet on the bottom and there are no bath mats to step on as you get out of the shower/bathtub.

Great spot conveniently located at mountain base

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place had everything we needed to prepare meals. There was plenty of space for the four of us. My children loved the pool. It was very clean. All the mountain activities are at your fingertips. When we come back to Big Sky I will try to stay here again.
