Classic Edmonds Waterfront front home was renovated a few years ago and is lovingly maintained. This home is situated on a large, private lot, on a dead-end street. Enjoy the ever changing view of Puget Sound and it's wildlife in your front yard. Whatever season your visit, our home is furnished for maximum comfort with cozy gas fireplaces upstairs and down for cool Seattle winters, and large entertainment size decks for warm Seattle Summers. Close to quaint downtown Edmonds, enjoy art galleries, fine dining, shopping, boating, fishing and more. Just about 1 mile north of the Kingston Ferry and The Sounder train light rail, our home is conveniently located between Seattle and Everett while still providing that 'million miles away' feeling.

The master bedroom offers a lovely view of Puget Sound and gardens from a king size bed. The master bath has walk-in shower, jetted tub, and heated tile floors.

Next door is an additional 'flex' room with gas fireplace and queen murphy bed which boasts the same view as the master.

A third bedroom offers two twin beds and an additional bathroom. All bedrooms include top of the line beds and bedding to complete the total relaxation vacation.

About Nicole

My husband Bill and I purchased this home in 2011 and began the process of restoring and updating. We have lived next door since 2002 and enjoy the peaceful community known as University Colony. While many of the original homes have been replaced, when given an opportunity to preserve this gem we couldn't resist. We hope our guests will enjoy the home and setting as much as we do.

Nicole purchased this house in 2011

Why Nicole chose Edmonds

We love Edmonds for its quaintness and convenience. There are other waterfront communities in the greater Puget Sound area, but few have a downtown area with galleries, shops and restaurants, while still being close to Seattle and Everett. We enjoy the privately owned businesses which give the town its unique feel. We love the summer Saturday Farmer's Market and frequently buy fresh flowers, vegetables and fish for weekend grilling. Edmonds is also known for gardening and this shows in the sidewalk displays all over the downtown area as well as the Marina. It really is a special and unspoiled place.

What makes this house unique

We take pride in our home and have exceptionally high standards. Our home is meticulously maintained and we make every effort to provide our guests an exceptional vacation home experience.

Seattle escape

  • 5 of 5

Nicole and Bill's home was lovely, well cared for and so comfortable. They welcomed us with cookies and personally came over to show us the intricacies of the home. The bathrooms were new and clean. We wish we had had more time to sit and enjoy the property. Since we were in town for a wedding we were busy most of the time. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Nicole and Bill!

Amazing Views and Location

  • 5 of 5

The location and views were fantastic, being from Arizona, we loved the greenery everywhere. The amenities are top notch, homey and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset everyday. The layers of greenery, create great privacy between the neighbors. The proximity to Seattle is close enough for day trips, one recommendation, use Google Maps or a mapping tool to find the best route for day trips due to the congestion on I5. However, no need to go to Seattle, Edmonds has parks a very friendly downtown area. I had only been there a few days and the Edmonds Starbucks staff already called me by name :-). We truly enjoyed meeting Bill and all communication with Nicole was enjoyable.

Thank you for helping us find our new Summer vacation location!

Wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

This was a great location and the owners were very helpful and accommodating. I was in the area for business and I felt very at home and comfortable. The bed if very comfortable, everything was clean and of good quality. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to the area for work or vacation. It is the perfect home and location for both. Edmonds had a lot to offer in town. Great restaurants and shops to explore!

Perfect Edmonds Choice

  • 5 of 5

Great Venue! View, comfort, all the amenities you need, nothing lacking except maybe an extra roll of paper towels! We BBQ'd, cooked - took day trips to the Boeing Factory, Tulip Town, Brainbridge Is., Salish - convenient location, so easy to get wherever you what to go. Beautiful master suite with the BEST bed and linens! Edmonds is walkable, many restaurants, fun shopping. Seattle is busy, congested - you don't need to go there - this is the place to be!!

Stunning views, landscaping, privacy, comfort - Highly Recommended!

  • 5 of 5

This home is a true find. We spent a lot of time down by the water in the very comfortable chairs taking in the sunshine, the views and the trains. The beautifully landscaped yard is lovely, intersperced with the fresh scent of herbs and flowers. The view kitchen had everything we needed, including a functioning grill on the outside deck. The master bedroom is beyond comfortable with very high quality bedding and a walk in closet. The owners were very helpful, providing restaurant recommendations, and information in regard to the Saturday Farmers Market. We look forward to future visits.

This amazing waterfront home has everything!

  • 5 of 5

No detail has been left unattended by the owners of this immaculate home right on the sound. The property and the view are breathtaking. The house is in a super-quiet neighborhood but it's easily accessible via car and ferry. The furnishings and appointments are 5-star and the owners are awesome!

Edmonds is a quaint town just 15 miles north of Seattle and accessible by freeway, train, metro and ferry boat. Washington maintains the largest fleet of ferries in the United States with 22 vessels. We are the fourth-largest ferry system in the world. Edmonds is known for beautiful gardens and a downtown area that has maintained its character. At the marina charter fishing is available, there is an underwater park great for scuba diving to see the Pacific Northwest underwater life. We are close enough to Seattle to enjoy the city and far enough away to avoid the congestion of the big city yet still have everything you need. All services are near by, including locally owned shops in our downtown core and shopping centers (including a large Mall) in nearby Lynnwood.
