After a long day of touring the city there is nothing better than relaxing on your own private sun deck with a cold drink in hand, listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean as you enjoy the fantastic view of Boston's city skyline! So come join us and float all your cares away on SleepAfloat managed houseboat!

Guestbook comments from the manager

Amazing location - just a 5 minute walk to the North End or Quincy Market. Quality of the boat was better than we expected. Spotlessly clean, extra towels and pillows and high quality bed linens. Boat is actually at the end of the dock so has an uninterrupted view of the harbor. Our son loved the sleeping cubbies! Only suggestion is some kind of umbrella or bimini for the deck as there is no shade and as it was a 90 degree weekend, we had to wait until nightfall to sit up top.

Excellent location for all of Boston

  • 5 of 5

What a great place to base ourselves from. Easy walking distance for exploring Boston. Great for onward travel. We took the nearby fast ferry to Salem for the next stage of our tour. The house was quirky but very stable. Stunning views.

Conveniently located for many of the points on the Freedom Trail, public transport to museums and Fenway Park, great restaurants and the Festival of St. Anthony. Comfortable beds, great upper deck for dining and relaxing. Thanks for taking such good care of us Daniel!!

Very unique experience.

  • 4 of 5

The houseboat was all we expected and more. It was a fun, unique experience. The location was great! The First Mate, Daniel was very friendly and made sure we were familiar with everything before he left. Then on Sunday we had a water problem and he came immediately to resolve the issue. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay on the White Elephant Houseboat. The boat is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. If you have a concern about the boat rocking too much, it was not a problem. There is a feeling of being on the water, especially when boats go by, but it is a very subtle feeling. The outside deck was fantastic. We even got to see fireworks from the deck one night. The location is perfect for seeing all of the sights in Boston.

We would definitely stay there again.

Great place!

We were in town for a graduation. The boat was a perfect spot for my family of ten to be together. The location was perfect and an easy walk to restaurants, pubs and Quincy market. We would love to do it again.
