The Historic Crags Lodge, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleeps 4 maximum
Very clean and convenient
Room was very nice, but no tv in bedroom, and no maid service (clean towels). However we went downstairs and requested some and front desk was very helpful.

Great location and pool!
Fabulous outdoors pool and hot tub area.
Great location to Rocky Mountain National Park and down town Estes. Could use some upgrades of furniture in the rooms and needs new windows and window treatment. Overall a very nice lodge and we would definitely stay here again!
Great Property + Great Location = Great Vacation
Crags Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. We had a compact apartment in a building separate from the main lodge. The apartment included a living room (including a loveseat sofa bed), a flat screen TV, DVD player, dining table and chairs, a kitchenette (which included a sink, cooktop, mini fridge, and microwave), a separate bedroom with a queen bed and it's own flatscreen TV, and a bathroom with tub/shower combo. The apartment was immaculately clean, very well organized, and set up nicely for our stay. The things you notice upon check-in are the friendly staff, historic beauty of the lodge, and the location with it's beautiful long-range views of both the mountains (in multiple directions) and the historic Stanley facilities. It is just up the hill from downtown Estes Park and yet feels very private. The resort has a beautiful outdoor pool area which includes a hot tub. The pool itself is heated. There are towels and pool supplies like noodles and beach balls on site. There is also a hammock and a corn hole game set up in this area. The lodge has both indoor and outdoor seating for dining. It also has an indoor entertainment room with a pool table, a small library, and a DVD collection you may borrow from. The Lodge hosted a wedding reception while we were there. Two other pleasant surprises were: 1. Making s'mores over the indoor fireplace when the activity was offered one evening. & 2. Watching two deer roam the hill behind our apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.
old amenities and couch, but overall good unit
The "kitchenette" was probably from the 80's, and the couch was hard and lost all cushion. But unit was clean and well kept otherwise.
Precious Historic Lodge
We really enjoyed our stay at this historic lodge in Estes Park. The lodge sits on a mountainside overlooking downtown Estes and is close to Elkhorn (where the shops and restaurants are). Our room was clean and roomy, and we had a wonderful view! The grounds were so pretty; they really try to keep the property looking nice while maintaining the historical integrity of the lodge. The staff were all so helpful and gracious. Would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful view and off the beaten path
Loved the super comfy sofa bed, the friendly staff, the pristine and perfectly heated hot tub. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Estes Park!
