Our beautiful, two-bedroom condominium has a very “at home” feeling and is located 10 minutes from the beautiful sights and unique shopping of the oldest city in the nation. Founded in 1565, the city has retained its rich Spanish heritage. This unit is on the second floor with elevator access and faces south to enjoy the sun all year round! There is a jacuzzi unit with an enclosed courtyard and hot tub a short walk away. This is a NON SMOKING / NO PETS unit.

The condo comes with free and secure high speed internet and free long distance to US and Canada.

The property is professionally managed on site by Saint Augustine Ocean and Racquet Resort. For your enjoyment, the property also includes: 2 outdoor pools (1 heated in the winter), 5 Jacuzzi’s, tennis, racquetball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, grilling area, fishing ponds, direct beach access via two boardwalks and 24-hour security. A large clubhouse is also available to rent for meetings, reunions and weddings.

Located in Historic downtown Saint Augustine are attractions such as: Castillo De San Marcos, Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, Potter's Wax Museum, Alligator Farm, Fountain of Youth, 3D World, Lightner Museum, Ghost Tours, Oldest School House, Saint Augustine Lighthouse Museum and tour, several city parks, and the San Sebastian Winery. Saint Georges Street offers unique shopping boutiques, tasty restaurants, and lively pubs. In addition to Historic St. Augustine, there is still plenty to see and do.The area is full of fun and exciting things for every age and interest. The beach is great for swimming, surfing, jogging, fishing, sand-sculpture, watching a sunrise, or searching for shells.

If you enjoy golf, the St Augustine area is famous for its world class facilities. There are public courses as well as World Golf Village, near I-95, which features two, championship 18-hole courses. The PGA is headquartered just north in Ponte Vedra.

After a decade of visiting St Augustine annually and staying at Ocean and Racquet every time we decided to buy a condo here to one day perhaps retire to. We reside in Gainesville, GA which is about 8 hours away.

Why Richard and Monique Weber chose Florida North East

Since we knew we would need to rent our home, property management was key in our decision as to where we should look. Being familiar with management from the 'Guest's' viewpoint made the choice easy. We didn't even look at other properties because we knew that we wanted to be here. The city codes prevent this area from going 'high rise' and high density like so many other Florida beaches. We have a very efficient and effective Owners Association which manages the finances very well.

What makes this condo unique

Professional management and ideal location. Close to everything beach, and only 5 miles from historic 'Old Town'. And If you just have to have a 'city' nearby, there's both Jacksonville and Daytona.

appreciate it - just for information - since our first time - ( friends stopped by for a week ) - two couples have now rented their own units - both were in own units this year - and both have booked for 2012 - in addition - a further relative who visited for a week - has now booked a unit for 2012 - plus as a note - my brother has had a unit for 2 years - total units rented in addition to ours - 4 - your unit - has generated good business - by the way - new floors were a nice touch - i may have to request - referal fee from property company ------- ha-ha -

great time but just found out something on billing

we had a wonderful time there in st. augustine, just beat the hurricane coming through.

the place was wonderful. i was going to pay with a certified check but forgot to get at the bank in time so i just let it go onto my charge card. i was told i would not be charged until i got there.

setting up to pay the card to find out i was charged 07/21 and have had 3 late fines and interest added. i didnt check the card because i had a 1 cent credit on it. this is not looking good.

Owner's Response: Darryl, Thank you for letting me know this. Since you paid thru vrbo there should be no charges thru the onsite office except for damage or incedentals. This does not sound like that. I will notify the manager to look into this and get it straightened out.

Beautiful home and location

This condo was just what we needed. We had 3 adults and it was just right. The kitchen was nicely appointed and clean. Beds were super cozy. The facility was very quiet and we hardly knew we had any neighbors. Pool was beautiful and pristine. The best part was the vicinity to the beautiful beach. And if you want to eat at Salt Life (which we recommend) they offer a free taxi. You can walk across the street to the pier from there too. Richard was a most gracious host.

Place Was Comfortable

The place was comfortable and not far from Circuit Court. An older unit, suggest you buy air fresheners to hide mildew smell. Selling point was close to beach. Would rent again.

Owner's Response: My wife and I stayed at the condo the week prior and noticed a chemical smell upon our arrival. It was more like the smell of something housekeeping might use on the carpets. The thermostat was set at 78 which is too high a setting for the summer in Florida. We set it at 70 and within an hour the odor had gone and did not return for the entire week. Florida is in the tropics and mildew can be a problem, especially if there is no A/C. I suggest guests keep the thermostat set low and windows closed so it will run as much as possible to help reduce that moisture content. I also let housekeeping know to set the thermostat low after cleaning the unit. Of course we have no control over the thermostat in the unit above or below ours. The property was built in 3 stages, all in the early 80's. although 35 years old, it continues to win numerous accolades in annual "Best" voting polls thru the years. The grounds are always well manicured and kept clean, the security staff keeps everyone, guests and residents, safe and the ladies in the office are professional as well as helpful. The reason we purchased our unit here was after staying as a guest each 4th of July for several years, we knew it was run in top notch fashion.

Great location for a beach getaway. Easy access to many restaurants and beautiful beachfront property. Owners were wonderful to work with and would definitely come again because were so close it makes a great easy weekend retreat where we can walk to all things fun and really relax
