About Mike & Jan Adams

HI! We are Mike and Jan Adams. We have been vacationing in the Pigeon Forge area since the 1980's and have always loved the area so we decided to buy a second home for our family and to share with others when we are not using it.

Mike & Jan Adams purchased this cabin in 2011

Why Mike & Jan Adams chose East

As our children were growing up, they enjoyed vacationing in the area and spending time at Dollywood. There is so much to do in the area with the proximity of Gatlinburg, Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there is always something to do when you want to be entertained, or you can just sit back and relax on the decks. We searched for the perfect cabin in the perfect location and we found it!

What makes this cabin unique

We love spending quiet time on the decks overlooking the mountain range, taking a stroll in the morning or going for a scenic drive. Our cabin is located close to everything but with the feel of being far from it all. Perfect location!

BREATHTAKING!!!!

  • 5 of 5

This property is absolutely beautiful. The views will take your breath away! The cabin is very clean and has everything you need! Everything!

We rented this cabin for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had family and friends from Florida, Ohio, Texas and Tennessee stay with us and everyone loved it, from the morning walks to the evening's on the decks. The only time we left was to run into town to get groceries and to attend my son's senior football game at Carson Newman University. Other than that, we just stayed and enjoyed our time together.

We are already planning a trip back in 2018!

You cannot go wrong with this beautiful place!

Perfect cabin for our family. We felt secluded but close to all the town had to offer.

  • 5 of 5

We arrived and were extremely happy with our accommodations. The ride up the mountains was an adventure in itself but well worth the views you get from the balcony. There is so much to do in town and in the National Park we will have to book again soon to see it all. The cabin was perfect. We had 4 adults and 3 children and plenty of space for everyone.

Great cabin with wonderful views...

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed for 3 nights at the cabin in late September. The cabin is really nicely furnished in a rustic log cabin style and was very comfortable. The views are wonderful and the decks on 3 levels give you plenty of opportunities to enjoy them.

We had a problem with the AC which the owners resolved very quickly after a call, so no complaints. We would not hesitate to use the cabin again.

Those Amazing Views!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was everything we'd hoped for and more! The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and clean and has a very relaxed ambience. Every level has a deck (with rocking chairs!) that provides spectacular views of the mountains. Our party ranged in age from 2 years old to 60 years old - and every person enjoyed this "home away from home". Being from Chicago, I've never driven in the mountains, so I certainly appreciated the paved road to the cabin - my only piece of advice would be to follow Jan's directions that she gives you at check-in, as the GPS can certainly get a little shaky in the mountains (or at the very least, compare her directions to what your GPS says). It's a great place with great owners who respond quickly to any inquiries. This beautiful cabin far exceeded my already high expectations and I would certainly book again!

Spacious and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was large enough to accommodate our three families totaling ten people with ease. The teens loved the pool table and the adults loved the fabulous view off the back decks. Netflix and Wifi were appreciated as well as the proximity to Dollywood. One evening we were able to watch the Dollywood fireworks from the front of the house.

If you are utilizing the loft mattresses or the fold-out couches you will have to make them up yourself with linens provided, and we had to share towels which seemed odd for such a large cabin with a hot tub. The owners were friendly and accommodating.

We had a great stay! The kids are still talking about how much they loved this cabin.
