This beautiful, 2000 square foot, 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home is perfect for a Park City vacation any time of year!

Less than 10 minutes to Kimball Junction or Historic Main Street and the Park City Mountain Resort, Black Rock Ridge completely sidesteps the congestion and traffic of these locations, placing you and your family in a quiet/private area with Easy Access and available parking. There is parking for 2 cars in the Garage and a small Mud Room as you enter the home from the garage with a built-in bench and railroad spikes to hang your coats.

The rustic décor is welcoming and warm. The layout of the home is perfect for families as there are two living areas. In the main level living room, you’ll find plenty of comfortable seating, a 50” HD TV with DirecTV satellite television and a gas fireplace for cold winter nights. There’s an iPod/iPhone docking station so you can relax while listening to music. The balcony right off the living room has patio furniture and a gas BBQ for summer or winter grilling. There’s also a ½ bath located on the first floor of the home.

The main level Master bedroom has a King-sized bed, a 42” HD TV, a ceiling fan and a private, attached bathroom. You’ll be sure to get a good night’s rest in the luxurious, warm bedding.

The dining area seats 8 comfortably and is just off the Fully-Equipped Kitchen! The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, a toaster, coffee pot, blender, griddle, utensils, glassware/dishware, baking pans, and almost anything you’d need for a lovely home-cooked meal.

Need to do laundry? Next to the kitchen you’ll find a laundry room with a High-Efficiency Washer and Dryer, perfect for washing winter ski clothes or summer swimming suits. There’s also an iron and ironing board for your convenience.

Downstairs you’ll find another living room with more couches (including one that converts into a Queen sleeper sofa), a 60” HD TV with Blu-Ray player, Xbox w/games, DVD selections, and DirecTV satellite television. There’s a ZVOX surround sound system for movie theater sound, which also has an iPod/iPhone connection. There’s an additional iPod/iPhone docking station there as well. In addition to a shared full bathroom (with a tub/shower combination), there are two more bedrooms on the lower level. One has a King-sized bedwith soft, comfortable bedding. The other has a full-sized bed with the same kind of bedding. Each bedroom has a 42” HD TV with DirecTV satellite television.

Off the lower level living room, there’s a patio with a Private Hot Tub. Enjoy a nice soak after a fun day of skiing or shopping!

Need to work or watch Netflix? Wifi internet is available for free throughout the home.

Full heat for the wintertime and Central Air-Conditioning for the summer makes this home the perfect temperature any time of year.

Very clean, spacious, fully furnished, user friendly and super comfortable. Gorgeous views of Park City and Deer Valley, even from the outdoor jacuzzi! Short drive to the mountains, to restaurants, grocery, and retail stores....Overall, awesome stay, would highly recommend!

Beautiful home Incredible View Close to Park City

We absolutely loved this home. It is such a great feeling when you can walk into a rental and say it is better than expected. This townhome is beautiful and in immaculate condition. We loved the mud room off the garage with built in benches and old railway spikes as coat hooks. It helped us keep everyone organized. The views of Deer Valley and Park City are amazing, at night you can watch the lights of the snowcats grooming the mountain. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the house is so spacious with two living rooms allowing us some space and giving the kids their own space. The downstairs TV is huge with an amazing sound bar and the kids loved having an X-box. The private hot tub has views of the mountains. I recommend wearing sunglasses in the early evening, and there isn't a nicer place to watch the sunset. We weren't sure how far it really was from Park City, but it is literally less than 10 min closer to 5 min. Easy to get to and truly an awesome property. We will be back.

Beautiful Townhouse with Mountain Views

We spent 7 nights at this property in March 2017 for our annual ski trip. With 6 people there was plenty of room to spread out between 3 bedrooms and a pull-out sofa. The upstairs living room, master bedroom, and hot tub views are amazing as they overlook Deer Valley, Park City, and Canyons resorts. Property is in a great location about 12 minutes outside of the town of Park City.

We had a couple questions upon arrival and management was more than willing to provide assistance.

Garage (although pickup trucks will not fit due to the length)


Upstairs gets hot very quickly with fireplace turned on, leaving the downstairs much cooler.

Hot water tank doesn't seem to be large enough for group of 4-6 people.

Great View

Everything about our experience here was fantastic! We had never been to Park City before so the property manager provided us with lots of information on local events and restaurants. We were impressed with the property and the fantastic views of the mountains. The Park City area was beautiful and offered more than enough to do for our family. The Olympic Training Center was impressive and both the Canyons and Park City ski areas were breath taking and provide miles of hiking and biking trails. There were even hot air balloon rides every morning the week we were there. Park City is even more spectacular at 1500 feet!

When in town, the No Worries Café is a must for breakfast. The Riverhorse and Mariposa are great choices for dinner and Thursdays at Ghidotti's is a must.

We loved our stay here and cannot wait to get back!

Villa Rica, Georgia

5-Star Finishes

This is a beautiful condo, and probably the cleanest rental we have ever walked into. There was more than enough room for our family of four. Six or eight guests would have plenty of room to spread out with the two dens.

The finishes and furnishings are beautiful, including the hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen with all Jenn Air appliances, self-closing cabinetry, and the washer and dryer are top-notch. The bathrooms are beautiful, and the bedding is heavenly. There are smart TV's in every bedroom AND both dens. We really enjoyed the private hot tub after skiing all day!

Things future renters may want to know:

The unobstructed views from every window are just as depicted in the photos. The only down side to having those beautiful views is that this unit overlooks Hwy 248, so we did hear some traffic noise in the upstairs master bedroom (but it was worth it). There is one hvac unit for this townhome which made it a little hard to regulate the temperature in the rooms downstairs. It stayed quite a bit cooler downstairs. Also, the owners may want to consider adding shades or drapes to the sliding glass doors in the upstairs den. With the southern exposure the sun is VERY bright coming in those windows all day, making it hard to watch TV (or even sit without sunglasses) in that den during daylight hours. We liked the location of Black Rock Ridge because it is off the beaten path, yet a 5-10 minute drive to everything "Park City". We also made the 45 minute drive to Brighton and Alta on two days. Of all the ski areas, Deer Valley and Brighton are our favorites! And don't forget to eat at Zoom in Park City!!!

Overall, this is a great condo! We would definitely recommend it to our friends!

We also appreciate the feedback from your stay as it is our goal to continually improve the rental experience wherever possible. As the home is very new, the owners are still working on some finishing touches. One of those items is blinds for the sliding glass door area. They will be installed in just a few days. We have found that while running the fire place in the upstairs area, it warms that room so quickly that the main heating system will turn off. At night, when sleeping and the fire place is off, the temperature is more evenly regulated. We will look into adding a portable heater for the downstairs area for the cooler seasons. Black Rock Ridge is located far enough away from downtown for a nice, relaxing vacation but close enough to still enjoy the nightlife on Main Street. We recommend renting a car. This home is not on the free shuttle route but the drives are quick and easy.

It's also located less than 10 minutes from the Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center (PCMarc). With a huge pool and water slides, gym, fitness classes, running track, climbing wall, sauna, hot tubs and plenty of activities, it's easy to find fun for the whole family, especially in the summer!

Additionally, you'll be right by the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail.

The Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail State Park is a 28-mile, high-elevation trail that follows Interstate 80, from the charming streets of Park City through the smaller communities of Wanship and Coalville to Echo Reservoir. From a starting elevation of approximately 6,800 feet in Park City, you can cruise down the gentle 2% grade along Silver Creek for 14 miles through a narrow volcanic canyon.

As the scenery transitions to wetlands and farms near Wanship and Silver Creek Canyon, a menagerie of wildlife—including fox, bald eagles, herons, moose, deer and beaver—often appears near the trail. The trail surface is primarily gravel, except for 3 miles from Park City north and a 0.5-mile section in Wanship. These asphalt sections are suitable for wheelchairs and in-line skaters.

After passing through the outskirts of Coalville, visitors will emerge at the bottom of Echo Reservoir, a Summit County water source and hotspot for recreational boating and fishing. Not only does the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail State Park showcase the environmental diversity of this area, it helps celebrate the region's rich history.

The rail-trail follows the route of a historical railroad line that transported coal and silver ore during the region's mining heyday in the 1860s. To help commemorate this heritage, Summit County's Restaurant Tax Grant Committee provided the Mountain Trails Foundation with funds to place 16 plaques along the trail. These markers highlight the early Mormon settlers and ill-fated Donner family wagon train, the trail's intersection with the once-influential Lincoln Highway and the excavation site of Ice Age mammoths, among other historical sites and events.

The pathway may be relatively new, yet recreation has been the name of the game in Park City for decades, and the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail serves as a connector to several hundred miles of technical mountain bike trails, single-track paths requiring more skill that zigzag throughout the area.
