Will visit again
We visit treasure island 3 times a year. We loved this unit. We have stayed in other units at Palms of TI and this is a favorite. The view of the bay is amazing. We saw dolphins swimming the bay daily. Loved it. We will return.
This is a wonderful condo in both comfort and location.
This is a wonderful condo in both comfort and location. This is our second time staying here and will definitely do so again!
Perfect place for vacation
Very clean, well equipped (included beach accesories), comfortable place. Great location with the proximity of Publix, bus stop to the Clearwater. The beach is just opposite side of the street. The appartment has a great terrace with georgeous view and truth is what other people say about the dolphins - they are really to be observed in their wildlife somethimes even couple of times of the day. Highly recommended.
The view was amazing.
Really nice condo on bayside. Don’t let that detract you. It had great views especially at night and during sunrise. The property was amazing. Publix right next door with plenty of dining out so close. I will defysty here again
Excellent location, nicely equipped
The Palms 410 is in an excellent location next door to a Publix supermarket, just across the street and a block away from a public beach access & the start of the Treasure Island beach trail. The patio was the highlight of the apartment, with fairly comfortable but worn furniture and a peaceful view of sunrise over the intracoastal waterway. We normally prefer oceanfront and the sound of waves breaking on the shoreline, but we really enjoyed watching the wildlife and boat activity on the intracoastal. It was so quiet that we could easily hear the exhalations of the dolphins who would cruise the opposite shore daily!
The management company (iTrip) was very organized and reached out several times pre- and post-check-in to ensure we were prepared and everything was in working order. The photos on the website were accurate.
The only reason that I would not give this property 5 stars is that it just wasn't equipped or furnished as well as many of the luxury 5-star properties we've rented in the past. Everything worked, but the finer touches were missing. Details were of the type we've seen in an investment property rather than top-shelf (most light bulbs have been replaced with blue-ish florescent "curly-cue" light bulbs rather than equally-efficient warm-colored LEDs, plates and bowls were just enough to supply dinner for 4, the outdoor furniture was corroded & seating pads were thin and faded, additional amenities like dishwasher and laundry detergent were not included, etc.).
Please don't misunderstand: This property is an excellent value and I think was 100% as-represented. However, we typically rent VRBO properties where the owners keep the properties extremely comfortable for themselves rather than just to rental standards, and 410 at the Palms was just not quite at that 5-star level.
Fabulous view from balcony
Mixed feelings about this apartment. The sitting room is tiny and whilst it was fine for 2 people it would be a stretch for 4. Two adults and two children would not work because the childrens bedroom would have access to the balcony 4 floors up. The elevator was the slowest I have ever known and really prevented us from going down to pool area, shame really.
