Wonderful House and Grounds

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks. The house is so nice, spacious, and well equipped. The owners are great and very helpful. They found tennis for my husband and took me to a gym nearby where I could work out. The restored farmhouse is set in the middle of the owners vineyards and fields on the outskirts of Ancona. It is a convenient location near the highways, great for touring in the area. It was a great experience!

Great experience

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful house and location! We stayed for two great weeks where we enjoyed the near by beaches and towns and some days we just lazed around the pool which has a nice breeze on a hill. One of the highlights during our time there was having Olga teach us how to make pasta at the house, even though we didn't speak much Italian, it worked! The owner was kind and welcoming and kept the pool clean during our stay.

A wonderful farmhouse with a beautiful pool!

  • 4 of 5

We just returned from a great holiday in the Marche. The house is just perfect, in the middle of the vineyards, yet very close to Ancona and the beautiful beaches of Conero. The house is clean and very cosy. It is provided with all the ammenities you need. We really felt like home during our holidays.

We are a family with 3 children, 12, 11 and 9 years old, and they had a wonderful time at the house. The pool is perfect: large and deep enough. In addition the garden invites children to play football, basketball and beach ball tennis.

House is ideally located to discover the beautiful area of La Marche.

Letizia is a great host. Very friendly and provides you with all the information requested. We would definitely recommend the house to others.

Wonderful Stay at Beautiful Property with Welcoming Owners

  • 5 of 5

Just returned home after spending a week at the farmhouse with my partner, her parents, and our 2 year old daughter. In short, we had an amazing time at a beautiful house with every need answered by the owner.

The house is well-equpped for cooking and lounging by the pool, both of which we did extensively thanks to the great food available and nice weather. The owner cleaned the pool as necessary and a new sun shade was provided for the patio (the separate covered loggia is airy with a table for 10).

Clean rooms, towels and a crib for our daughter were waiting upon arrival, along with basics in the refrigerator until we could shop. Wifi worked without issue.

The property is very pleasant, private and quiet, with a big yard, basketball net, great loggia, plum trees and nice views of the vineyards and Ancona nat'l park. The private road to the house and winery can be a bit hard to see from the main road but the owner provided directions (Google Maps also worked).

We felt very welcomed by the owner. Our questions were answered promptly and we were offered great tips for restaurants and shopping. Private tastings at the winery were also arranged for us.

We had a wonderful time at the property and really enjoyed meeting the owner. It was our first time in Le Marche and now I can see why many people call this area "the real Italy." We hope to return again in the future.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your kind words, our home is always open to all, Italians and Foreigns as well. Welcome has always been a very important value for my family. We have been loving to meet and talk with people coming from far away, with different traditions and way of life. The Marche is not so well known, but is rich in history, art and nature. To show and share our life, our land and the semplicity of our region make us proud. Hope there would be other occasions in future to meet eachother again.

Loved This Place

  • 5 of 5

We really loved this house, the setting, the beautiful pool and the surrounding area was amazing.

The setting is stunning, standing in the centre of the owner's family vineyard, you are completely private with gorgeous views across the valley. The pool is large and beautifully positioned next to the house. The property itself has an excellent blend of traditional Italian antiques and more modern 'designer' furniture and is very tasteful.

We love to walk as well as the beach (there are excellent beaches within easy reach and a fantastic national park on the coast) so we were delighted to find that the mountain range between this area and Tuscany were quite close and superb for long distance hiking or shorter day walks.

The biggest surprise was the city of Ancona. Our British guidebook said there was not a great deal of attraction in the city for tourists apart from the ferries that travel to and from Ancona. How wrong could it be. We had several lovely evenings exploring the bars and restaurants and climbing up to the cathedral and found it very cosmopolitan and interesting. We bought fresh meat and fish from the markets there and also sampled the wine from the vineyard surrounding the house, which was superb.

I give this place five stars and would stay there again.

Very Nice house on AMAZING property

  • 4 of 5

We were a family of 7 people (two adults and five children ages 9-17 years). Despite close proximity (15 minutes) to the city of Ancona, this house is located in the middle of a large private vineyard with total privacy. Both Letizia and her brother Maurizio were a pleasure to interact with. They provided ample food and wine (from their family label). They also offered travel planning assistance and personalized tours of the winery. The pool was perfect and the fenced yard gave our dogs freedom to relax and enjoy with us.
