About Ann Mazurik

Home lover; we've outfitted this home with creature comforts to make your stay as if it were your own. We love the desert, the sun, and the trails in Vistancia for riding the bikes around and just forgetting about time ... it's also fun to watch the desert critters run around. You'll see lizards, road runners, coyotes, rabbits, pigeons and much more !

Why Ann Mazurik chose Peoria

We live in the Pacific NW and the weather pattern there is quite rainy and cold in the winter so balancing life out with sun and warmth seemed like a good thing to do.

What makes this house unique

Love the peace and quiet of this planned community (Vistancia). Love to watch the sun come up then it's fun to plan a day of doing something for me; be it cooking, shopping, biking, golfing, tennis, or my favorite swimming laps in the heated lap pool. The trials through the community are great for morning or evening walks and the hiking nearby is incredible! My husband and sons like to shoot jumpers on the basketball court, too!

Guestbook comments from the owner

I just wanted you to know that we enjoyed our week in your house in Vistancia. Everything in the house was great, it was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

We also loved the trail and went out on it everyday!

Disappointing Backyard

  • 3 of 5

Nice size, well appointed home. Had to request the owner move the car out of the garage so we could use it. Had to wait for the proper paperwork to be taken care of so we had access to the pools. We were never able to receive mail. The pantry had food on every shelf when we arrived. There was food in the refrigerator and quite a bit in the freezer. We've rented many homes and never encountered this before. The biggest issue was the awful yard (all stones) and the patio with only 2 iron chars and small table. We could not enjoy being out there to relax or have a meal with friends. So if you don't care about walking out the door and enjoying the weather then this home could work nicely for you if you make you expectations clear (garage, kitchen, immediate access to pools).

A Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

Very livable property located in a top rated community with multiple hiking trails, golf courses and swimming facilities). Kitchen was well stocked. Comfortable furniture and a high end Massage chair to ease stiff necks, shoulders and backs. Convenient to the 303 loop and I-17 for side trips into northern Arizona or south into Phoenix. Approximately 45 minutes to an hour from Sky Harbor Airport.

Awesome house for families

  • 5 of 5

We loved this beautiful ranch style home in the community of Vistancia. We had booked the property to be close to family in the area while we were visiting and were so happy with everything - the house is single story with tile floors, great entertainment system, open kitchen/family room (all of these things were ideal for families with young children). The floorplan also worked out well for us as our kids could be in the front bedrooms sleeping and we could relax in the family room or the master bedroom, which are in the back of the house, without disturbing them. It's ideally located - close to retail and the in-community walking trail and playgrounds. Plus the price stacks up very well against a hotel which wouldn't have half of the amenities. The owner was attentive and very accommodating...allowing us to check in early and was easy to text/call with any questions we had. Would highly recommend this property for families vacationing (or visiting family) in the area. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

A great family base for spring break in the sun

  • 5 of 5

We were very lucky to book this house on short notice after circumstances forced us to change our original plans. We couldn't have been happier with the house. Thank you so much!

First of all, like some others have mentioned, the photos really don't do the house justice. It is very well set up, spacious and uncluttered with extremely comfortable furnishings. We had trouble getting our kids out of the massage chair!

The neighbourhood is quiet and a little out of the way - you certainly need a car to get around - but it's quite pleasant to walk around, and the pools are great. The unheated pool is only for the very brave in March, but the heated pool was lovely. The bikes provided a great way to explore.

Being on the northwest edge of Phoenix, it's fairly easy to get around without becoming stuck in traffic. We visited several parks - White Tank Mountain, Cave Creek (the horse trekking was excellent fun), Lake Pleasant and McDowell Mountain all offer a range of hiking trails from pleasant strolls to strenuous expeditions. It was also nice to be able to head north to Sedona when we left without battling traffic.

In summary, this was an ideal place to stay - a little out of the mainstream, but a great base to explore, and great value!

BEAUTIFUL WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER!!!

  • 5 of 5

This is so much nicer than any of these pictures do it justice. We live in Indiana and have had a horrible winter so to get away to sunny warm Phoenix/Peoria area was the best....but to have this fabulous house to stay in was even better. We were visiting family that lives in the Phoenix/Peoria area and to be able to have them over for dinner and entertain like we were right at home was wonderful. Ann was so accommodating to us I do not think there was anything she forgot to have waiting for us. We own an electrical contracting company and having an office to do our business from was wonderful. Normally we have to clean our work stuff off the dining table of any vacation home to eat dinner and this was so nice to be able to set up our office area and use it and leave it when we were done. We have since looked into buy a property in this area and are definitely considering it. There is nothing else that you could possibly want in a housing complex the amenities are awesome!!! We have a 4yr old and he had a blast at the pool, indoor basketball court and gym and the huge play area all onsite. There is nothing to complain about here and I would and have recommended this to anyone that will be in the Phoenix/Peoria area. Thanks again Ann you are for sure "The hostess with the mostess". The Pierce family will be back next year for sure!!!
