Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 4)
Cozy one bedroom, one bath condo with a private balcony and full kitchen, located in the center village of Copper Mountain. This is one of the larger one bedroom units at Passage Point with 643 sq ft of living space and a view of the ski slopes. It’s less than a 3 minute walk on the heated village walkways to the main ski lifts (American Eagle and American Flyer). Included with rental is access to the ski lockers, heated underground parking, 3 hot tubs, and fitness facility (cardio and weight machines). The fitness facility has had a complete renovation over the summer and includes all new free weights and machines.
Have a relaxing night sleep on the comfortable king bed in the bedroom and the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace and watch a movie from our 50+ DVD collection on flat panel TV's.
Located within the building is a steakhouse restaurant, coffee shop, and a bank. Directly in front of the building, there is a stop for a free shuttle bus to Frisco and other areas of Copper. Frisco is a larger town only 6 minutes away (by car) from Copper Mountain, and has a large grocery store, Walmart, several sporting goods stores, and restaurants. Combined with the restaurants and shops in Copper, there will be no shortage of supplies or entertainment.
Copper Mountain is about 75 minutes from Denver directly off I-70, and it’s nestled between Vail and Breckenridge, making it an ideal vacation location. Vail is about 25 minutes west on I-70, and Breckenridge is only 20 minutes away.
Copper is a great Ski/Snowboard destination. With over 20 lifts and 2433 acres, the mountain artfully blends terrain for all ski/snowboard skill levels by naturally separating advanced runs from the beginner slopes. Rather than mixing the beginner skiers' area with the more advanced terrain, Copper has made SAFETY PRIORITY ONE with an entire mountain area dedicated for the family and the beginner skier/rider. It is ranked as one of the top ski schools in the country.

About Jim Folaron
We're a military family and have traveled all over the world. I was born in Colorado, and my wife went to college in Colorado Springs. We've always loved skiing and the mountain atmosphere. It has been our dream to be able to own a condo in a Colorado ski village.
Jim Folaron purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Jim Folaron chose Copper Mountain
We love to ski. Copper Mountain is a great mountain for skiing and boarding and it's centrally located between Vail and Breckenridge, making it an ideal location for visiting multiple resorts. Additionally, Copper is located directly off I70 and about 25 minutes closer to Denver than Vail. This was a huge bonus for us, especially since Vail Pass frequently closes due to bad weather.
What makes this Condo unique
The number one benefit of Passage Point is the location. It is a very short walk to the slopes, and the heated walkways of the village make it simple and safe to get to the lifts. Another unique benefit of Passage Point are the three hot tubs exclusively for guests of our building.

Great place close to the lifts!
Nice accommodations, close to the lifts and center village for easy access to just about anything one needs while skiing. Quiet place and nice for a small family of 4 or a couple of adults. Only problem was the mattress on the pullout was thin, and you could feel the frame and many other lumps that were un-ignorable and hard to sleep on (i.e. impossible to get quality sleep on it). Otherwise, great place to stay and good rate!
The condo was perfect! Exactly as shown, spacious, very clean, well maintained and great views of the mountain. We especially enjoyed the storage space that was available for clothes and gear. It also has a humidifier which you really need due to the low humidity. We've been staying in the East Village the past few years, so we weren't sure about the distance to the Eagle and Flyer lifts, but both were an easy walk, even in ski boots. I'd recommend parking near the West elevator to cut down on the walk to the condo. We'll be back...
Overall good condo! Bed was comfortable but kitchen was lacking on many basic essentials! Fine for 1 or 2 nights, but a week would be rough given the kitchen!
Thank you for your review! I’m sorry there were items missing from the kitchen. This is the first complaint we’ve had about the kitchen in 6 years. Many of our guests stay year after year for over a week at a time, and cook their entire stay.
We have, a coffee maker (Keurig), microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, double sink, utensils, plates, coffee mugs, bowl, pans, baking sheets, cleaning supplies, paper towels, among other supplies.
Please let me know what items you found lacking, and I’ll have it fixed for future guests.
great condo, perfect location, super easy check in.
Perfect Location! Very Spacious 1 Bedroom!
Check in process was flawless. Condo is in a great location! It’s walking distance to American Eagle and American Flyer. Beautifully decorated, very clean. The 3 hot tubs were really nice and hot and they were huge! Several restaurants to choose from right there in Center Village so in our 3 nights there we never moved our car from the garage! The kitchen is a full kitchen, so you can stop in Frisco to get groceries if needed! We loved that there were lots of movies in the condo to choose from, so we turned the fireplace on and had a movie night 2 nights in a row! We just wish we could’ve stayed longer!
We are very happy you enjoyed the condo. Please keep us in mind for your future visits to Copper Mountain.
Great Property for a Ski Weekend Getaway!
My wife and I loved this unit in passage point at Copper Mountain Center Village. It's a great location to the mountain and the bars/restaurants available at Copper. The owner took great care to detail instructions for key pick up and return, parking, and phone numbers to reach service if needed.
You get one parking spot at the Passage Point Building, underground and heated, and very close to elevators which made unloading very convenient.
The unit was clean. Extra Towels if needed. There was a Keureg coffe maker and a Mr. Coffee drip pot coffee maker in the unit with all other typical kitchen pots and pans, utensils, glassware, and dishware. So making meals would be easy here.
The balcony gave a nice mountain view and an opportunity to enjoy a nice beer or glass of wine and watch the snow cats light up the mountain grooming the runs. The bedroom had a king size bed and plenty of closet space with a humidifier if needed. The pillows were a little firm, so if you have the ability to bring your own pillows, you might want to consider that. Otherwise, It was a great unit and we'd definitely rent from this owner again!
