Life long resident of this area. I have worked in the real estate business since 1995. Enjoy quiet peaceful time for reading at this place.
Craig Stallons purchased this cabin in 2011
This property is close to my home, yet far enough away to spend a few days relaxing and being with the family. Lots of activities for the entire family to engage in. Lake Barkley State Park is less than 10 miles away.
The property is about 5 miles from a National Recreational Park, which was the most visited park in Kentucky in 2011 and close to the boat ramp and has a large shady lot.
This cabin had plenty of room for 4 people. It was clean and furnished nicely.
Very quiet location. Good place to realax. Not much to do in town, but Clarksville a short drive up the road with plenty to do. Highly recommend everyone to stay here.
The cabin located in a subdivision with neighbors and water surrounding the property. No privacy if that is what you are looking for. Deer was plentiful. The cabin is comfortable and clean. Our only complaint was that we could not get the Shower head to work (no way to get water to come out of it. It appeared the lever to turn on the shower was broken off), so a bath was our only option. It was nice touch to have some items stocked in the cabin, if we had needed it (foil, spices, coffee creamer, paper products).Kitchen is well stocked. The owner was very accommodating when it came to booking our reservation at last minute. The fireplace was nice since it was chilly while we were there however the upstairs loft bed
Owner is a flake. Had chase him down twice. Once for the property address, the other for the access code a week later. He initial remark on the day of the check in to provide the access code was " Check in is at 4PM".
Not sure why there would be a comment like that for a rental of a home in the woods. Perhaps Baron Hilton does not get it.
This little house was beautiful. The online pictures do not do the house justice. There is no internet or cell service which was great for a vacation. No work worries with no phone or email. It made us enjoy our vacation more and have more family time. There are deer everywhere you go and you can hear many animal sounds and see lots of water all around. Loved our stay.
Pictures & descriptions do not do this cabin justice!
Quiet, relaxing, & clean. It's obvious Craig takes great pride in this home.
The only thing that would make this cabin even better is if Craig would move Cadiz to Michigan (within a two hr drive from us, of course).
Thank you for sharing this wonderful get-a-way with us!
