Ocean/Sunset Views, Amazing Snorkeling, built 2005, Gorgeous Infiinity Pool
We are a happy family of four--myself (Hee), husband James, son Ryan, and daughter Hana. I grew up in Oahu and have always loved the Hawaiian lifestyle. So I had mixed emotions upon graduating from the University of Hawaii to head to the mainland for work. But that's where I met my wonderful husband James. James is the breadwinner for our family but his true passion is photography and Hawaii has always been his favorite place to photograph. The beautiful beaches, tropical palm trees, breathtaking sunsets, and happy people in paradise always make for wonderful photos. Our two kids, Ryan and Hana will be raised with lots of Aloha the Hawaiian way.
James purchased this Condo in 2015
Why James chose Kahaluu Bay
We both love traveling and have taken many trips across the globe. But if you ask us where we would want to retire, Hawaii would be the first words out of us. When we stayed at this complex in 2013 while vacationing on Big Island, we instantly fell in love and knew we had to become owners one day. This modern unit (built 2005) is among the newest you'll find on Alii Drive and together with the gorgeous infinity pool, the open air lanai, and easy access to Kahaluu Beach make for an unforgettable Hawaiian vacation!
What makes this Condo unique
There's so much benefits offered by this unit and location! The outdoor lanai offers splendid views of Kahuluu Beach and amazing sunsets every single day! It's also the perfect place to have coffee/breakfast as you get ready to snorkel Kona's best snorkeling spot. The location can't be beat--there is no complex with better access to Kahuluu Beach...all you have to do is walk across the street! The gorgeous infinity pool & jacuzzi is the perfect way to cool down and offers splendid reflection views of Kahaluu Beach Park's coconut trees. As one of the newest buildings on Alii drive, this unit is located just far enough from downtown Kona to avoid the noise and traffic, yet has easy access to shopping centers, farmers' market, and local eateries. We are super excited to share our home with you and whether you are coming to Hawaii for the first time or a frequent visitor, we hope you make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.

Great place and location
This is a great condo in a perfect location. We came with our 2 adult son's and we loved having the 3 bedrooms. The condo is well stocked with beach gear! I would recommend this condo and will certainly stay there again! Thanks James!!
Perfect location - Beautiful and convenient
We could not have been more impressed with the location. The property suited us perfectly. Well maintained. Great access to beach park just across the street.
Amazing condo in a perfect location.
This 3 bedroom ground floor condo was a two minute walk to unforgettable snorkelling and handy to the pool. Close to grocery shopping (We recommend shopping at the KTA grocery like many of the locals do). Apartment was well stocked with snorkel sets, beach chairs and towels. Not far from the airport and on the sunny side of the island. A beautiful place that our family
IT'S GREAT TIME
There is great plese in kahaluu.
very close beach.
A beautiful sea can be seen from the balcony. Be sure to go to the balcony in the sunset.
Our travelling group was a pair of grandparents, parents and kids aged 5 and 2.; six people total. The property suited us well with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Whilst we didn't do very much cooking, the kitchen was well appointed. The dining area is on the lanai/verandah and in the evening the sunset is very cool.
The cupboards in the bedrooms were filled with useful stuff for the beach; chairs, umbrella, noodles, boards etc. Our interest was visiting beaches on this side of the island with the kids and all of this was very good.
One thing we didn't count on was having a little beach directly out the front of the property. The beach had some rocky bits and again, there were some "shoes" on the lanai/verandah that we could borrow. We did also use the swimming pool which is part of the property. The water is very warm and the kids enjoyed that too.
Using this as a base we did travel north and south visiting beaches, coffee farms and eating out. Pu'uhonnua O Honaunau National Historic Park was well worth the visit.
There are no shops nearby but a couple of minutes drive up the hill will find a shopping centre with a supermarket, food places and shaved ice shop. You can walk it but if you are buying a few items the car is a better option.
Some of our group are tea drinkers. We found that a kettle to boil water for a pot of tea was a rarity in the places we stayed at. This place was no exception. If we had realised and thought to ask, we would have bought a kettle and teapot as soon as we arrived in Hawaii. It is funny the little things you miss.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
