Fantastic property and location
Roxanne was a pleasure to work with. She puts a lot of thought and care into the rental experience. The property was perfect for me, my partner and 2 teens. The location is outstanding, close to the most popular neighborhoods. Everything about our stay went smoothly and I would absolutely recommend staying here for a visit to Toronto.
We loved the house and its neighborhood. . Historic feel, spacious, clean and bright home.
House has interesting art and a great vibe. Comfortable furnishings. We are a family of 4, with two young adults. We are a tall family. The house accommodated us nicely. Neighborhood is busy, diverse and urban. Lots of bakeries, coffeehouses and restaurants. We walked to most attractions, but public transit is readily available. So much to do in Toronto and this house is a great base. Our host was responsive to our emails and had a parking pass ready for us on arrival. Two thumbs up.
Great location in Little Portugal, plenty within walking distance. Roxanne is a great host, willing to help out however needed!
Just as described and very conveniently located in neighborhood with lots nearby.
My husband and I traveled to Toronto August 12-19, 2018 for the first time. Roxanne’s place suited our needs quite well. It was our first time in Toronto and the city was much bigger than we realized. Public transportation was convenient. It was very hot while we were there and the house was warm with no central AC, but this was not in the description! Roxanne provided a window unit AC which really made sleeping comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with all the basics. TV is Apple TV and does not get live shows- but Netflix access was great.
She has a good guidebook with great suggestions for restaurants, bakeries, bars, shopping, groceries... we loved Wallflower just around the corner!
We rented a car two days to drive to Niagara on the Lake. Street parking is by permit only- which you can request from the city in advance, but we just used the parking garage on the next street over.
There is no washer dryer but there are two coin-op laundromats nearby and Roxanne left laundry detergent.
She was responsive to any of our questions and we would recommend her place to others. There are two queen beds and a loft bed- probably better suited for kids. The one bath might be a challenge for larger groups but was no issue for just my husband and me. The stairs are a little narrow and steep so folks with mobility issues should be mindful.
Overall, we found Toronto to be a vibrant, multicultural, friendly city! Roxanne’s place made our week there very comfortable
Wonderful place to stay - easy access to everything
Our stay in Toronto was wonderful and part of that was because we rented this great place! There were a total of 6 of us, two adults and 4 kids. We aren´t the picky type of travelers so we weren´t too concerned that there was just one bathroom.
The house is located on a very quite street but easy within walking distance to the bus, which takes you straight downtown. There are two laundramats just down street so doing laundry was easy.
This house has a narrow and quite steep stairs to go to the bedrooms, so keep that in mind if you are someone with any type of mobility limitations.
I would rent this house again in a flash!
Roxanne is easy to communicate with and very open to helping you out with whatever matter you have to solve. Great host!
Exactly as described. Owner was very friendly and accommodating.
We were a group of four exploring Toronto and surrounding area. We cooked breakfast every morning and most evenings. Saved lots of $$ thanks to a full kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the three bedrooms allowed privacy. Easy walk to public transportation. Would definitely book again if in the area!
Right at the Corner of Dundas and Brock is a Walkers paradise. Daily errands, shopping, restaurants and bars are at your doorstep. A quaint residential street with TCC transportation only steps away. Very close to the downtown city core, yet far enough away to experience the quintessential West End Toronto neighbourhood vibe.
