About AUDREY

Eric and Audrey are outdoor adventure enthusiasts. Eric bought this cabin a few years after moving to Crested Butte in the late 70's. He has been active in Search and Rescue, Ski Patrol and knows the backcountry like the palm of his hand. Audrey came here to ski and 13 years later calls CB the adventure she was always looking for. We have an Irish Setter (Fiona) and a Golden Retriever (Estee). They accompany A & E on all their adventures. We have a trailer in back of the property where we sometimes stay.

AUDREY purchased this house in 1986

What makes this house unique

There is a doggy door big enough for our Irish Setter and Golden Retriever. There are a bunch of funky outdoor decor items.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home; cozy and comfortable with an incredible location. We arrived during the beautiful and crazy festival of Vinotok, the fall equinox. All of the festival events were within a 2 - 5 minute walk from home. There were also incredible mountain bike trails accessible from the house or a very short drive away. The house is stocked with plenty of extras in the kitchen to make cooking meals easy, the wifi access was excellent and the yard fabulous for relaxing and watching village life slowly pass by. The dog friendly house, yard and town made for a very fun and low stress trip.

Perfect for our family of four

  • 5 of 5

We stayed three nights after camping with our 1 and 4-year-olds and this place was absolutely perfect. It offered some rest and relaxation, for us to wash our clothes, and enjoy one of the best mountain towns. Lots of things to do with our little ones with a close home base to get back to for nap time. Our 4-year-old stayed on the couch that converted to a twin and our 1-year-old was able to sleep in his pack-and-play we brought while we got the super-comfortable bed in the loft. Audrey, the owner, was available if we needed anything and the place was well stocked and just so much fun to stay in. The location couldn't have been any better and I just don't have enough positive things to say about it. We have always loved CB and now have our favorite place to stay when we're there.

Crested Butte fun!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed July 18 - 20 2015. This place is small but it has everything you want and it is both well appointed and cleverly laid out. We really enjoyed our stay. You are a few feet, literally, from Elk St. so you don't have to look for parking or worry about driving when you go into town. Communication was great and Audrey and Eric were very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Summer in Crested Butte

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the property July 6-9, 2015. It was our first trip to Crested Butte and the little cottage was a perfect location, close to town but off the main street. Although small, it easily accommodated our party of 3 adults and 1 dog. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, and every kind of cooking utensil anyone could ever need. The owners were responsive to every request and came right away when a bear had pushed over the fence during the night. This is a little gem in CB.
