.... an Amazing Ocean Front renovated 8th Floor Ocean-Front Condo, Luxury King bed sleeps two ideal for couples wanting to get away from it all. Convenient key-less entry so no keys to worry about offering hassle free access and lovely fitness center on the ground floor.

You get into your unit as fast as you are able to park and get up to the 8th floor and we'll have cold complimentary beverages waiting for you!

We manage this unit personally with a professional housekeeper and therefore you will find this unit to be clean and very well maintained, 100% guaranteed. This is a NON smoking unit, balcony included and regretfully pets are NOT allowed on the property.

SHORT STAYS are typically not cost effective due to operating costs, taxes, fees, dues and housekeeping logistics. During Summer months we typically require 5 - 7 day bookings, however, we are happy to consider shorter stays to fill gaps in the calendar.

RATES advertised are standard rates and may fluctuate depending on season / special events

PARKING on site with a parking permit provided at the front desk is included and you will also receive FREE Wi-Fi for the duration of your stay. Wi-Fi has recently been upgraded.

... KING size memory foam bed ( New Dec 2018 ) with quality linens, ocean front unit conveniently located on the 8th floor away from the noise of elevators and vending machines. Includes a kitchenette with refrigerator, induction heat hot plate, microwave, slow-cooker, blender, Keurig coffee machine, toaster, plates, mugs and glasses, eating utensils.

Linens and bath towels are included but feel free to bring extra. Personal items and toiletries NOT included. ( Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas are not provided )

LAUNDRY: There is a 24 / 7 coin operated laundry facility on the lower level opposite the convenience store. This has also just recently been renovated so no need to bring too much clothing!

SHOPPING & DINING: Many great restaurants & grocery stores including Fresh Market, a brand new Publix within a comfortable walking distance or very short drive.

Restaurant and Bar downstairs on the ground level. On the South corner of the property, River City Cafe for amazing burgers, a newly renovated Starbucks and right next door, Martin's Restaurant which we highly recommended for breakfast and wonderful dinners.

If you enjoy a quiet 10 - 12 minute minute walk, or 2 minute drive, Collectors Cafe on Highway 17 and 77th / 79th ave. for the BEST cake and coffee and fine evening dining. Liberty Tap Room on 77th for a Sports bar atmosphere with many great beers and an affordable menu! One of our favorites, another wonderful dining experience at Sea Captain's House, on 3002 N Ocean Blvd and many, many others within 5 - 10 minute drive from the resort and another one of our favorites for lunch or dinner is Cafe Old Vienna, Old world German restaurant located at 1604 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach. This is a must!!

Also within a 10 minute drive North or South, The Boardwalk & Broadway on the beach. Tanger Outlet mall and many golf courses - ladies shop, gentleman golf ... everyone happy!

NOTE: We are a PRIVATE rental in the Sand Dunes Resort and are NOT part of, or affiliated with the Sand Dunes resort rental program, we therefore have limited access to the front desk and resort staff. You will not be required to check in on arrival, so after a long day in the car you will have immediate access to paradise! ** Regretfully Motorcycles & Trailers NOT permitted **

About Rob Tomlinson

Originally from South Africa growing up at the coast we have always just loved the Ocean. We enjoy traveling and have spent considerable time visiting many countries and cities all around the world including the United States.

During 1999 we decided it was time for a new adventure and applied for a visa to live and work in the USA. Settled in the Raleigh area in 2000 where we have been ever since. After many years working through the US Immigration process, received Green Cards in 2008 finally taking the oath and became a US Citizen in 2013.

We just love this area - so much to do and see, this is truly an amazing sea side paradise with something for everyone. The beaches are great, you can walk for hours with almost year round beautiful weather! A hundred Golf courses, maybe more - tons of shopping, Tanger outlet mall just 3 miles away, Broadway on the beach, the Boardwalk about 4 miles away and 1000+ restaurants to choose from.

We especially enjoy the sunrises with our morning coffee and breakfast on the balcony. Long early morning and evening walks are a daily routine.

So many great places to visit in the area, Murrells Inlet, Georgetown, Charleston and Savannah within a days drive amongst many others interesting stops.

Late afternoons usually spent relaxing with a cocktail or glass of wine on the balcony before dinner. Sunrise & coffee - no matter how late the night, this is something we never miss!!

Thanks to our Professional Housekeeper Julie and her team, you will find this Condo to be very clean, comfortable and well maintained. New carpeting, granite and good quality linens and towels are just a few of the quality comforts you will find.

Great week!

Great studio unit ideal for two. Nicely furnished and exactly as pictured. Views from great balcony were amazing, as were the sunrises! The snacks and beverages were a nice perk and much appreciated after a long trip. Rob was wonderful to deal with and was very quick in all of our inquiries. No problems at all with the Sand Dunes complex itself, parking was easy., lazy river pool was enjoyable and easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping.

Would recommend to anyone and hope we can return again!

The View in great! But...........

The view of this room is great. Its ocean front and amazing. The room is good but not perfect. If you are looking for HIGH quality, this is not that. The Sand Dunes Resort facility is a gross place. Very dirty. If I were to give grades on things they would be as follows:

Rob is a nice guy but that property is all about real estate sales and the management side of the business is just supplemental charge to pass on to the owners. The facility is filthy and smells. Calling it a resort is a stretch. Whatever improvements they have made on the facility were half baked, handyman craftsmanship, low quality materials.

Owner's Response: David, I've taken my time to respond to you as I was totally blown away after receiving your destructive review - it's taken more than 5 years and hundreds of guest and finally we receive your degrading review - clearly this property was not suited to your "high" standards and we regret it not being perfect. What is perfect ... perhaps the Ritz or a place in the Hamptons at $500 a night would have been a better choice for you. Your review would have been better served had it been directed to the Sand Dunes management, I'm offended and dissapointed - Hopefully our guests will read through your review and figure out that your review is "that review" there is always one, so thank you. Have a happy perfect life - again we regret not being able to satisfy your high standards. We would have appreciated a thank you for a clean unit, providing extra towels as requested, the complimentary beverages on your arrival, prompt response to your continuous calls and texts throughout your stay - you're welcome!

Perfect room and great location

The room was just as pictured. The new AC unit was great and the kitchenette came in super handy. Will definately return to this unit and for someone who loves the outlets this location was perfect. Not to mention next to River City Cafe which eat at daily. Thanks again for a great week.

Outstanding views, comfortable beautiful room!

Property was exactly what was described, comfortable bed, all the amenities that we needed. Close to restaurants and attractions but just far enough away to not be overwhelmed by the crowds. Rob was easy to work with and quick to respond to inquiries. Would recommend to everyone, hope to make it back again someday!

Cozy and clean with wonderful view!

This unit was perfect in every way! Very nicely decorated and really clean. Rob was very nice to deal with and made the rental process easy. I especially loved the high Adirondak chairs on the balcony. The eighth floor allows for a wonderful view of the beach. This unit is very well maintained. Very close to many restaurants, Carolina Opry and Barefoot Landing. Many of the units in this resort are not privately owned and are run down or not as clean as I like. I have found the privately owned units are usually well maintained, and clean. My girlfriend rented another of Rob's units on the 4th floor and was very pleased as well. You cannot go wrong by renting any of his units!
