You can catch your favorite team or watch a movie on one of the four satellite TV's. Kids can have fun with the Playstation 2 and the assortment of games, watch movies on one of the two DVD players, or listen to favorite CD's in the game room while playing on the 5-in-1 game table.
Cabin has two private master bedroom suites. Upstairs you can rest your head on a plush, king-size hickory twig canopy bed by night and then, fully-rested, enjoy your cup of coffee on the balcony while drinking in all the sights and sounds of nature surrounding you.
The upstairs master bedroom also features a bubbly two-person jetted whirlpool tub and large sitting area with queen-size sleeper sofa and a sassafras rocking chair.
The main floor features an open and spacious design and includes a living room, kitchen, half-bath, and laundry area. Relax in front of the large flat screen TV and stacked-stone gas fireplace. Enjoy a meal on the unique, Amish-made log table and chairs. From the living room, you can access the great wrap-around deck where you can enjoy the soothing, big hot tub, oversized log rocking chairs, or grill up your favorite steaks on the gas grill.
Downstairs in the walk-out basement, the kids will love the twin-size log bunk beds, CD player and radio, 5-in-1 game table, Playstation 2 with games, watching movies on the TV with DVD player or sitting on the log furniture outside on the patio. The second master suite is also located in the lower level and features a gorgeous king-sized bed, dresser, and large bathroom. And just to make sure you have room for the whole family the second queen sleeper sofa is located in the game room on the lower level. (No closet available in this bedroom downstairs).
BENEATH THE STARS is located in a private gated log home community (about 15 minutes from downtown), UP IN THE MOUNTAINS, this cabin is not easily reached by low sports cars. This resort has 24 hour guards, swimming pool (in-season), tennis courts and more. It is close enough to Dollywood and the Parkway to be convenient, and just far enough away to feel like you're 'in the mountains'. (Car passes are required to enter this resort.)
Stay at BENEATH THE STARS once and we promise, you'll want to return year after year.
NOTE: This cabin is HIGH up on a mountain ridge, and has a paved driveway, but it is not for the faint of heart.

My family found ourselves returning to the Smoky Mountains several times a year to vacation. We loved renting cabins and always felt more 'at home' when we rented cabins. We decided to purchase our own log cabin in the mountains and would love to share our cozy cabin with your family. We are sure you'll love it!
Rachelle purchased this cabin in 2008
Located in Shagbark Log Community made BENEATH THE STARS a good choice! We love the safety and security that comes with the gated community. We also fell in love with the views from this cabin - really was the best that we looked at purchasing.
The quiet night can't be beat - Owls and crickets fill the night with song! ENJOY THE CONVENIENCE OF TWO SEPARATE KING SIZE SUITES WITH FULL BATH plus another 1/2 bath! Separate game room in the basement the kids will be sure to LOVE! Cabin in in close proximity to many popular attractions! Our family loves Dollywood and would recommend it to everyone! There are great shows to see - something for everyone!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Beneath the stars. We love Shagbark and have rented there everytime we go to Pigeon Forge. There were a few hiccups we experienced but the owner was amazing! The kids loved the bottom floor area and my husband and I loved the 3rd floor! Driveway is steep but super fun to take on!!
I have stayed in many cabins in this area and this one was a great experience. The cabin was nicely decorated and clean. It is on a steep hill which was a scary experience but it made for a great view. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the fireplace was out of gas and did not work our entire stay, but the owner did give a 20 dollor per night credit. Which I thought was nice. Some other hiccups where the downstairs satellite didnt work and other small things like batteries not working etc. Overall was a nice experience. The kids loved the tri level and lots of choices for sleeping arrangements. Overall I would recommend but not for the inexperienced driver.
Wonderful cabin and very clean. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.
very clean and well appointed - everything you need - close to all attractions, but still very private
We were a little early for the fall colors, but enjoyed the cabin. We found it clean and neat. The decor made you feel that you were in the woods, but it was not overdone... very tastefully decorated. The only suggestion that we would have is to bring your own ice trays as there are not any in the fridge. The driveway is steep, but we did not have any problem getting up it. We hope to return in the future. We learned of this cabin from our son who took his family there in the spring. It sounded intriguing and we were not disappointed.
The traffic in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was heavy, but when we discovered Teaster Rd in Pigeon Forge, we were able to traverse back and forth in Pigeon Forge with ease.
On the inside, the cabin is very nice. Having the two bunk beds was great for my children. There were six in our group, and the cabin accommodated us well. I wouldn't have wanted more than one vehicle there. The hill going up is steep, but my Chrysler minivan did pull it. If you get car sick easily look elsewhere. A couple of times going up the ridge to the cabin my wife got queasy. On the outside it could use some TLC. The banisters close to the hot tub are pretty shaky. The view is wonderful if that is what you are looking for. Good cabin all around.
Within miles of Great Smoky Mountain National Park, close to Dollywood, close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge atrractions.
