Great family vacation!
The porch sold me on this house and it was definitely where we spent the most time. Plenty of room in the house for everyone - it is a traditional huge old New England summer cottage so don't expect modern (no outlets in some bedrooms), although there's a dishwasher, washer & dryer, nice TV, and wifi, so all the most important needs are covered. Best of all, the beach is right there -- it is a rocky beach but great for hanging out on the big rocks, swimming, and paddle boarding. Swim shoes recommended. All you can hear at night are the waves, which is wonderful! Short drive to Nantasket beach if you want sand (& crowds) but we never felt the need. Neighbors were super friendly & helpful, and be sure to have a drink on the patio at Jo's Nautical while you are there. Host was great & communication was prompt & easy. 25 minute ferry to the airport and/or Boston was a bonus. We hope to stay here again and definitely recommend!
