For those of you that have not visited Folly Beach, Center Street is the Heart of Town. Perched above our eclectic city, this unit allows you the convenience of walking to every restaurant, shop and watering hole that Folly has to offer. Access to the Beach, including the Pier, is also less than a block away. You can easily leave your car parked the entire week! So let your hair down, dig your toes in the sand, and enjoy the Center Street Pearl!

Located across the street from Taco Boy, this one bedroom, one bath property is perfect for the budget minded traveler. It has recently been refreshed with new paint and hardwood flooring throughout. There is a full bathroom, completely stocked kitchen, flat screen TV’s, WiFi and central heating and air.

What makes this unit unique are the Juliet Balconies (double doors) that overlook the Town. From this spot, you get a New Orleans type feelings, a great place to experience all the sights and sounds Folly has to offer.

About The Owner

My husband and I grew up in Charleston. Our families have loved Folly Beach for generations. For years we have admired this condo hoping one day it would become available. When it came up for sale we were ecstatic. Now our family, friends and you can take advantage of this truly unique place.

Why The Owner chose Folly Beach

We have other rental properties on Folly Beach (247967 and 346344) and the most common question is 'how close is the property to Center Street and/or the Pier'. Well, this is as close as it gets!

What makes this condo unique

Folly hosts many festivals and parades throughout the year. This unit provides a birds eye view. For example, Taste of Folly in January, Folly Gras in February, Sea and Sand Festival and St. Patrick's Day pub crawl in March, Follypalooza in October, Christmas Parade in December and Flip Flop Drop on New Year's Eve.

Girls weekend get away

Best location EVER. Condo was extremely clean and big enough for 2 people. Bed was comfortable. This unit is stocked for everything you need. Having a dedicated parking spot is great. Loved being able to walk to beach, shops and restaurants with ease. Music from the neighboring bars not a problem to us. I want to return soon and bring my husband with me. Thank you for a new place I hope to frequent a lot more in the near future.

Great Location Didn't Cut It

Location, location, location! Lots of truth to that, and this VRBO is in the perfect location. The owners will not have difficulty renting it. But is it okay to let "location" keep you from making your VRBO the best it can be? As property owners, my husband and I were disappointed with the lack of care put into the place. The couch, with all due respect, looks like it came from a garage sale. It blocks the french doors so you can't enjoy the view. Three of the light bulbs in the bathroom were missing. Not burned out, but gone. Really? Over the weekend the weather changed and it got very cold. There wasn't one extra blanket. One sheet and a thin bedspread and we were on our own.

Now, I don't expect a bottle of wine and two glasses waiting for me when I go to an VRBO. I also don't mean this three star review to be mean, but rather constructive criticism. You have great ratings, so why change anything? Because, eventually your ratings will start to come down. Your place is darling. Spend a little time and a little money and fix it up. I won't go into anymore detail, I've said enough. I would recommend your place to any of my friends and family, because the location rocks. Good luck to you!

Close to everything

If you want walking distance to everything and are a bit of a night owl, this is a perfect spot. Folly beach is perfect at sunrise and close to pier!

Awesome!

Long weekend with my granddaughter. It does get a little noisy at night but I knew that when I booked. The place was perfect and Lindsay has been great! My fiance and I will be staying there soon.

Great little unit in the perfect location

As expected, this unit was in a great location in the center of town. My wife and I were here on a 4-night anniversary trip. We checked in on Friday and out on Tuesday. Friday and Saturday nights were noisy until after midnight, but we are night owls so it was not an issue. I wanted to put that out there since the unit is located so close to local hangouts that have late night music and entertainment. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Fantastic location! Perfect for low key beach trip.

You can't beat the location. 3 minute walk to the beach. The fact that it comes with a reserved parking spot is crucial, as parking can quickly become a nightmare on folly. The place isn't huge and doesn't have many bells and whistles, but it works great for a couple's trip. You're gonna spend your time on the beach anyway. The owner was super quick and responsive with everything too. The French doors overlooking the main drag made for some fun people watching. One thing I will say is that it's definitely pretty loud every night with music/partiers because there's several bars in super close proximity (you're basically on top of one of them). But it wasn't a deal breaker for us--if you're used to the urban noises of nyc or any other big city, it won't be a shocker. Big bedroom with a comfy bed. Would definitely stay again!

Rates include linens and cleaning! $100 refundable deposit is required to reserve unit. Reservation deposit converts into a security deposit and is refundable within 7 days of your departure. Full rental payment is due 30 days prior to check in. Please note the minimum night stay is 4 nights during the Summer season and 3 nights during the Spring and Fall seasons. If there are 2 or 3 nights available in between bookings, then the minimum night requirement does not apply.

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
