About Lisa Haag

My husband and I live in the Houston area. We are avid pilots and live at an airport. We love to fly, ski, and travel. We have a dog and a cat that both travel with us. We own a business called Federal Wage and Labor Law Institute which makes and sells labor law posters.

Lisa Haag purchased this cabin in 1975

Why Lisa Haag chose New Mexico

Mark's family vacationed in Ruidoso from San Antonio throughout his childhood. He loved the quaintness of the town and the skiing. Not to metion some of the best horse racing is here and a beautiful new casino and resort. Ruidoso has something for everyone.

What makes this cabin unique

The location is convenient to the Ski Apach resort, The Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino, and Ruidoso Downs Horse Race Track. You can also walk only one street to enter the National Forest. The views are spectacular, and the mountain air is refreshing. This is truly a place to get away from it all.

Great Property! Will Book Again!

  • 5 of 5

We decided on a trip to Ruidoso....with one day notice! Lisa took care of our reservation request quickly and we left for Ruidoso the next morning. We spent quite a bit of time on the deck and even watched an elk in the next door neighbor's back yard. Cabin was cool and very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The damage deposit was refunded promptly. Thank you Lisa. We will hopefully call again soon!

This place is great!

  • 5 of 5

We planned a long weekend without children in Ruidoso. Found this place to be very affordable, quiet, and well kept. Neighborhood is nice and not a lot of traffic. There is a great view of Sierra Blanca from the deck where there is always a cool pine scented breeze. We will be back!

Great cabin - Great Location - Great Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

Annual Sister Vacation 7/12 - 7/16. Cabin was clean and had everything to make our annual vacation a success! Short hop to town and hiking. We utilized the kitchen and grill and ate out only twice. Late nights playing Yahtzee, drinking wine and catching up. Beautiful view. We started each day drinking coffee on the deck watching the deer. Two different ways to reach the cabin; we used the paved road rather than the steep, unpaved route Google recommended. Deposit was refunded timely. Recommend this gem! Owner responded quickly to emails and the manager called and gave a rundown on fridge and pantry inventory so we could shop before arriving at the cabin. Thank you for a great time!!!
