About Katy Williams
My husband and I are computer consultants and you might run into us in and around Aspen working in the stores and restaurants. We moved to the Roaring Fork Valley from Oklahoma 12 years ago, and love snowboarding and skiing, camping, fishing and biking. We have a black lab named Sneaky who loves to make friends and hike.
Katy Williams purchased this House in 2010
Why Katy Williams chose Snowmass
When the house next door went up for sale, we jumped at the chance to own a house where our family can spend time with us without being crammed in our already overfilled home. We have two little boys who love to see their grandparents as often as they can!
What makes this House unique
We love being on the bus line! You never have to worry about the weather or finding a parking place in Aspen. And the bus drops you off right at the slopes, so you don't have to bring driving shoes! In the summer you can jump on the Rio Grande Trail and ride your bike and then bus it back home. The Rio Grande is groomed for cross country when there's snow - I love to go as far as I can up hill and turn around and glide back home. There's a great fishing hole across the street and boat ramp access is about 1/4 a mile away. Glenwood Springs is 25 miles down valley and we love to explore the graveyard where Doc Holliday is buried... or is he? The hot springs are fun for all ages and are open all year.

Lovely property, very easy to find and good access to Aspen. Furnishings very comfortable.
Very comfortable and nicely furnished. Made to feel welcome with lots of kitchen essentials. Only negative is it is fairly close to the road and traffic noise was a bit intrusive in the early morning after 6. Fine overnight though so if an early riser this wouldn’t be a problem.

Great Base to Access Aspen Area skifields
The house is well presented with everything and more that you might need for a great holiday. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are all of a good quality. The bus stop is just a few steps from the property entrance
Very nice house
This is very nice house that is extremely well equipped . The only down side is the road noise because it really is right on the main road. It bothered us initially but faded after we had been there for a few days and we ultimately stayed 10 days. The house is very comfortable and the landlord is responsive and nice. it is very convenient and easy to get everywhere in the valley but it is much closer to Basalt than to the ski slopes. That actually is an advantage for those that intend to cook because the nicest and best grocery stores are just past Basalt and Basalt is a nice town with some good restaurants.
We're glad that you enjoyed your stay! We hope to see you again!

Home convenient to skiing and public transportation
We spent 3 1/2 weeks in this home between Basalt and Snowmass. The home was comfortable and well supplied.
Best House in Aspen and strongly recommend to everyone.
Fly fishing very close by, walk down in your waders. The bus picks up just across the street every 30 minutes to drop you off at all four ski mountains. Don't have to worry about parking at the slopes.
