2425 square ft of luxury, this 4 Bedroom, Avalon Tower Penthouse was the developer's Personal unit. Custom,one of a kind, floor plan. The double wooden entry doors welcome you to come inside to an inviting foyer. Ten foot ceilings throughout the unit. Three well-appointed guest rooms,each with its own bath, two have king beds with a balcony and one a queen, are the first rooms you encounter before you venture down the beautifully designed travertine hallway leading to the wet bar and kitchen areas. The custom designed cherry cabinets have all the utensils you need to prepare a gourmet meal, or enjoy a fresh shrimp cocktail on the lanai overlooking the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Sunrises are especially gorgeous with an unobstructed view of 25 miles including Gulf Shores in the distance. This unit has its own dining room (was 5th bedroom),with seating for eight to enjoy your home cooked meal,or play games with the entire family. The wet-bar includes an ice machine, sink, and cabinet for glasses. The lanai has two high top tables with seating for six, an electric grill, and two side chairs and small table. The master bedroom is very spacious with built in bookcases, office space,and sitting area. You also have your own private door to the lanai. The sunset comes through the west window overlooking the pool and well-maintained grounds of the Beach Club. The master bathroom includes a jucuzzi tub for two, a travertine shower with two heads and controls, two sinks, television, and walk in master closet.

This is it!

We've stayed at the Beach Club 4 times prior to this trip, but this was our 1st time in Avalon penthouse #1. Everything about the place is top notch. Master suite and bath are huge. All 4 bedrooms have their own private bath. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have king beds. Master suite has a door to the main balcony, which can also be accessed from 3 doors in the living room. Main balcony is L shaped facing the gulf and east toward Gulf Shores. 2 other bedrooms share a balcony facing east that have a beautiful view of both the gulf and the bay. The floor plan of the place begins at the entrance where there is a long hallway with 3 bedrooms. The hallway leads to the huge open kitchen, dining, living area. The kitchen contains everything you'll need for any meal preparation. Dining area has a large table for 8. Wet bar has an ice maker which provided all the ice we needed for 4 days on the beach. The living area has 2 sofas, 1 facing tv and built in shelves, the other facing outside. The master is just off the main living area and has windows overlooking the gulf and the pools. The Beach Club has always been our favorite place on the gulf, but this place has just made it our only choice for future trips here.

Private-ish. Residents very welcoming to travelers. Not same benefits/amentities as Spectrum guests

We enjoyed stay. The amenities and discounts are not equal to Spectrum guests, which was disappointing not to know up front. Heard the activities at the front gate were fun, but too far off course for kids to walk by themselves. Food trucks looked good, but don't believe a desert truck like ice cream, shaved ice, etc was available. Beach was really busy right at resort, but eased up down further away from main buildings. Pools available to VRBO guests were fun and not too full of people. View was spectacular. Saw dolphins a couple of times, some large cranes, ducks and ducklings, fish, and beware of jellyfish. Rentals on property didn't have availability for 2 Seado type simultaneously. Banana boat was a blast! Had to go off property for dual rental of personal water craft.. Beach was very clean.

Our property had at least 10 lights not functioning. Cleaning was not thorough (mold and mildew in baths, some dishes and Cooking utensils dirty, stained towels, etc) Cooking tools were adequate for making good meals in. Well kept grounds and polite employees anxious to make stay relaxing.

Over all, it was nice, but disappointed in cleanliness and repair issues on furniture, lights etc at our condo. We did get to relax and enjoy a pretty week at the beach!

Very Nice

We Loved the Condo... there were a few things that weren't great, the lighting was strange and some lights didn't work. The washer/dryer is very loud and the dryer took a LONG time to dry towel. Other than that, it was super. The property is very nice. I think the building we were in (Avalon) needed some updating (hall ways are pretty dingy). I didn't care for how crowded the beach was and the fact that if you don't rent an umbrella/beach chairs you have to 'sit in the back' with no view and almost no access to the beach. My Grandkids loved the pools. I really liked the food trucks and that space... very nice to have that convenience on the property. I didn't care for the whole club house thing where you had to buy an armband every day....I felt the pricing was ridiculous for the benefit... Overall a very good experience.

Wonderful stay

Everything about our stay was even better then we expected. The condo was spacious and well equipped. This is our third stay at the beach club and this way my far the best stay we've bad. We will def be back and will def stay at this condo again!

Thanksgiving getaway

We had a wonderful time Thanksgiving weekend at this condo. The views were incredible. The condo was well equipped and the kirchen and family rooms were a great size for a large group. Other than a couple of the guest bathrooms showing their age it was a wonderful experience overall.
