A note from the owner: My husband and I live in Northern California. I am a realtor and my husband is a disabled veteran and retiree from PGE electric company. We have four daughters and 3 grandchildren.

Coconut Condos purchased this condo in 2006

Why Coconut Condos chose Lahaina

We chose to buy our vacation property in Hawaii because we had been coming here since 1970. My husband was in the hospital in Oahu for 13 months after war injuries and loved the weather. We then started to go to Maui when the girls were small and since then we all have been attached to Maui and Lahaina.

What makes this condo unique

We love having a property in Lahaina!

We have so many amenities, it's so close to dining, fishing, and our most favorite activity is the whale watching. We can also do a dinner cruise at any time we want by walking down two blocks to the Wharf and jumping on a boat. We have many fabulous restaurants to choose from and we have two pools and a nice beach very close. There really is no need for a car as buses can take you almost anywhere you want to go. The bus station is only a block away. This has been our dream come true!

Overall good stay

Clean, prompt communication and welcoming. Easy check in and check out.

The company called me after I had arrived and were prompt in addressing an issue with the air conditioner which was nice. The AC unit in the master bedroom was musty smelling , but it cooled down quickly.

Close walking distance to all the touristy things on Front street which was nice since parking can be a hassle.

Downside: Paid parking every night, $20 if you don't prepay. The additional fees and cleaning fees really hike the price up, so the average guesstimate/night on the site isn't very accurate if that's what you're using to calculate prices for your budget.

Overall a pleasant stay, just a bit pricey after all the extras

This place is on the edge of the property easy access to downtown the beach shopping grocery store Etc. you had everything we needed. I did feel parking should have been included, However options were available. Pool is nice and clean. Not terribly crowded. Very pleasant stay.

Very Nice Condo

I've stayed at Aina Nalu in the past, in one of the upper level, two bedroom units, and I must say that I liked this unit much better. It is a lower level, one bedroom unit in a small building near the front of the property, basically a four plex. It was much quieter than the larger units, and we had much more privacy. The unit itself is nicely furnished and very clean. It has everything you could need for a brief stay. The king size bed was very comfortable, with high quality linens throughout. The bathroom was spacious, and it is so nice to have a washer/dryer right in the unit for keeping up with laundry. There was an abundance of towels, making it nice for a longer stay. Everything worked well for us, including AC, appliances, and entertainment features. The unit is very well maintained, and the furnishings seem relatively new and in good condition. Aina Nalu itself is in a very convenient location, within an easy walk to shops and restaurants in Lahaina, and an easy drive to other locations. There are two pools in this complex, a small pool and a larger pool, both close enough to this unit to make it a quick walk, but far enough away so that you aren't bothered by the noise of people using the pool late at night. There is plenty of parking, but you will need to pay $20 per day to park in the complex. There is a cheaper parking lot across the street for only $10 per day, but we liked the safety and convenience of having our car right out front of our unit. We spent two nights on Lanai, and it was nice to know that the car was safe while we were gone. The owners of this condo were very responsive to all of our questions. They kept us informed of issues going on while we were there (e.g. a fire alarm test), and made sure that our every need was being met. We will definitely use this same unit in the future.

2 weeks in paradice

This place was exactly as described. The perfect location for shopping, beaches and snorkeling. The property has 2 pools, 1 of which is salt water (saline) so no chlorine in eyes, and a hot tub is you get a little chilly at night. The room is fully stocked with everything you need, and 2 great bbq on premise that we used almost every night. The room is great with 2 a/c units so you are always comfortable. The room and grounds were very well maintained, clean, and colorful tropical flowers are found everywhere. I will definitely be going back to this location and Aina Nalu condo. There is so many things to do with shopping and eating, walking that are only minutes away from this condo, while everyone has to look and pay for parking you are comfortably blocks away in a quiet neighborhood. The photo's don't do the place justice, it is absolutely beautiful and there are lots of friendly staff around to help, assist or just talk to if you want the inside scoop on any activities or eatery's. If you look around there are tons of coupons for 1/2 price entrees or free deserts at most of the dining establishments. Highly recommending going to Costco (40 min drive) and stocking up on food as it can get pricy eating out 3 times per day. If you go to a timeshare 3 hrs promotion you will get great discounts on all activities, we got 2 snorkeling spots, 2 meals and open bar for 36$ US for 2, regularly 198$ US, alterantive options are to rent snorkeling gear cheap and go to ANY beach. There are maps in the room and everywhere that show all the locations of EVERYTHING on Maui, including shopping, dining, snorkeling, driving. Beware that the timeshares/sales pitch are very intriguing and sound great, but go in with a plan and stick to it. We said no, them they offered us a similar sales pitch without the thousands of dollar initial cost and discounted monthly cost, we almost said yes and are glad we never. We used the 3 hr timeshare to save half price on the total 3 activities we did, instead of 600$US is was 285$US. Back to the property, very clean, comfortable, lots of trees, flowers great for pictures, great price as well, highly recommended if you want to stay in Maui!!!! AAAAA++++++

Beautiful Maui Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this unit. It was in a great location close to many activities and restaurants. For times we preferred to stay on site, the complex had two pools which were beautiful and relaxing with the lounging chairs and huts. The unit and entire complex were clean and well maintained! We were able to stop by Costco on our way from the airport to pick up food that we could prepare in the kitchen, and we also used the BBQ's on the complex property to have a few home cooked meals. Overall, the unit had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing!! There was even a binder with various information and tips to make our stay that much easier! Thanks for everything!

Street parking is available for free and on-site parking is $20/day or $125/month. This charge is collected at the front desk. If you decide to pay for parking on property, Outrigger Aina Nalu requires payment for your full stay or the remainder of your stay (if you purchase a pass mid-way through your vacation). Coconut Condos has negotiated rates at a parking lot across the street for $10/day. Please note, for stays 21 days or longer, we do require a mid-stay clean for an additional fee of $95+tax.
We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance. No refunds will be given for storms and hurricanes. In the case of “Hurricane Warning” for Maui, a one-time date change, without penalty, will be available within 48 hours of arrival. Date changes must be made within 1 calendar year of original dates of stay.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
