Great place for large group

  • 5 of 5

This is a really nice place for large groups. Cell phone coverage is weak, but wifi worked. It's pretty much off the grid. Deck is fabulous with hot tub overlooking the river and plenty of seating for relaxing and dining.

I would definitely recommend this for those who want to be out in the woods, on a river and away from lights. It's a great spot, well appointed with pool table, bumper pool table, ping pong as well as all kitchen and dining things you would ever need!

Beautiful setting for a family reunion with 28 people.

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time the last few days at the lodge. Finding a place to accommodate 28 people of all ages, including many kids aged 2-17, is not easy. This lodge delivered and allowed all the adult couples a private suite and all of the kids a place of their own to hangout together. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to prepare a lot of food easily. The scenery is gorgeous and you really are away from it all here. It gave us great access to both Teton and Yellowstone since the lodge is in the middle of those two parks, and was great to see Mesa Falls which is pretty close. We wish we could have stayed longer!

The property was everything I had hope for!

  • 5 of 5

It was a perfect place to meet with a large family. We all had our own space and lots of common space. The house is well supplied for all 21 of us and the kids found lots to do! Our only disappointment was that the river was flowing so fast we couldn't float. We were extremely please with our vacation spot! We were right in the middle of Yellowstone and jackson hole. We rented an ATV and went to bearworld and horseback riding! Memories were made in Aston Idaho!

Fit us all with lots of space

  • 5 of 5

This property is gorgeous with the gushing river, hills on both sides and forest to give perfect privacy. All 23 of us loved being here and some would have preferred staying here the whole time instead of visiting Yellowstone!

Owner's Response: I am so happy you had a wonderful time! Often the biggest complaint we get is "not spending enough time on the deck" We always suggest Bear World as an option! Regards Debbie and Peter Backus

Amazing, Magical, wonderful location!

  • 5 of 5

A perfect place for our family reunion. We have been traveling to many locations and this was by far the best! Plenty of room, beautiful facilities, and wonderful owners and managers. The private pond was beautiful and the deck above the river was magical. We loved the bunkhouse. The cousins had their own place to hang out. Each of the suites was so nicely furnished. A hot tub in the woods! AWESOME!! Everything was perfect! Fun things to do, and a beautiful location to relax and enjoy our reunion. Thank you, Peter and Debbie, for sharing this amazing place with us. We will definitely come back!!

Wonderful place to get away from it all!

  • 4 of 5

We had a group come to the Fall River Lodge for a retreat. We had plenty of space for everyone to have their own room. Great facilities for a large group or a family reunion. Kitchen was very nice with just about every dish, pot or pan that you would need. Right on the river and very private as it is way off the beaten path. Only suggestion I would have would be to have better signage of where to turn off onto your private road. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The Fall River Lodge is located within 10 feet of the Fall River with a private fishing pond 50 yards away. The 40 acre parcel is beautifully wooded with pastures. The river can be waded or floated for your enjoyment. All buildings have views of the stunning river. There are no other homes to be seen from this property. It is contiguous to the Targhee National Forest with easy access to Yellowstone National Park.

We can recommend many fly fishing streams and guides. We are close to the Henrys' Fork of the Snake, Teton River and 1 hour to the South Fork of the Snake. For snowmobiling we have access to great riding trails to Yellowstone National Park or in the summer months Island Park' Horse rentals in Harriman State Park is 45 minutes away. Very close the upper and lower Mesa Falls.

The small community of Ashton Idaho is quaint and charming with a local grocery store and a number of diner's. It's just a short 12 mile drive into town.
