AMAZING views, well stocked, very cozy and welcoming. The space worked well for my family of five. We would both stay here again and recommend this cabin to our family and friends.
Thank you so much. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and glad that we can provide a 'home away from home'. Tom and Judy
2017 Summer in Paradise
We stayed here for a week in August 2017. We could not have asked for a better property to call home during our stay at the lake. The Tearoe's were the perfect landlords meeting us on site for our arrival. The cabin was beyond clean and the views have to be seen to be truly appreciated. There was every possible amenity you could need in the kitchen and lots of toys for the lake as well. Beds were very comfortable, in fact the whole cabin was as comfortable as being at home.
We go to Shuswap lake every summer and we will be sure to come back to the cabin next year.
We so appreciated having you and your family as our guests and thank you for taking such good care of our place. We love helping our guests feel comfortable and at home as we know that this can make a vacation more enjoyable. Tom and Judy.
Great clean well equipped cabin. The perfect getaway
Went for 8 nights with my family of 4 and parents. Great location and well equipped. Will definitely go back.
Owner has buoy in water across the street to anchor boat. Great dock to unload and load from. Also provided a small row boat to get to and from buoy.
Full stocked cabin with an excellent view and quiet surroundings!
Myself and a few of my family members just spent a week at this location. It was the perfect place for us all to meet, as everyone is spread out over Canada. The owner's of the cabin have thoughtfully decked out te cabin with everything you could think of, and it's all available within the rental fee. The cabin was clean and quiet, and the newer BBQ worked great. We would all stay again and highly recommend considering this vacation property! The price was right for 5+ occupants.
Thank you so much for your review. We enjoyed having you as guests as well and hope you come again.
This cottage feels like home
We had a great stay at the cottage. The owners really go that extra mile compared to other places I've rented. They have thought of absolutely everything from the spices in the kitchen to the scented candles to keep the mosquitoes at bay. Very roomie and very homie. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for this excellent review. We also have rented through VRBO and have noticed how the little things can make such a difference in the enjoyment of a vacation stay. As a result, we have strived to make our rental more like home by supplying the extras.

Great Vacation, Gail
Just got back for one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The house is clean and more than comfortable. Lots of room for my girls and my grandchildren. We loved the view, the grassy back yard and the quiet. You are high enough up the hill to just enjoy watching the lake actions without hearing it too!.
The owners were very helpful and even came up with a high chair for us.
We will be back!
There are a variety of activities available. For the adults, there is a couple of golf courses fairly close. Talking Rock is about 6-10 minutes away and Shuswap Lake Estates golf course is about 20 minutes away. There is also a number of fairly local wineries to visit and of course, there is the beach. The beach by Gateway Resort will not be very large in early July due to high water but there will be the large beach at Shuswap Lake Provincial Park in Scotch Creek, about 12 minutes further up the road from us. You may enjoy one of the nearby provincial parks for taking a stroll with your children. Roderik-Haig Provincial Park is about 1 km away and provides many flat walking trails along the Adams River, perfect for bikes and strollers in a dappled-sun environment. Shuswap Lake Provincial Park has more walking trails. Boat rentals are available at Bayside Boat and Seadoo Rentals or Captains Village Marina at Scotch Creek. In Salmon Arm, a 30-minute drive from our place, there are a few parks but also a waterslide. There is also the Kamloops Wildlife Park, which is west on Hwy 1, about 30 minutes the other way from the Little River turnoff. It is quite a nice park but can be dry and hot so bring lots of water for walking around. There a few ice cream shops in the area and the directions to these are included in our Welcome Book at the cabin. There is an indoor swimming pool at Salmon Arm, as well as a movie theater for a rainy day. There are plenty of games and movies at the cabin for the same reason! There is also Whitewater Rafting available on the Adams River for the adventurous. We try to update our Welcome Book yearly with new flyers for any entertainment in the area as well. Sometimes it is just fun to drive up the Squilax-Anglemont road and stop at various little stores and points of interest.
