Great location and luxury accommodations

Our family of 4 loved our stay here. It was within walking distance of great restaurants and shops and sightseeing destinations. The home was well decorated and had all the amenities we were looking for. We particularly enjoyed hanging out in the living room, the well equipped kitchen, the comfortable beds and fully supplied baths. We would highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect location for Citadel and Downtown

My cousin and I stayed at this property and it is most accommodating, meeting our every expectation in comfort and convenience. However, the lovely rooms were not staged with accessories, as pictured on the website, so were not warm and inviting. The window treatment in the master bedroom definitely needs attention, as it is most incompatible to the loveliness of the room!! I especially related to the windows, as they are the same as the ones in my house!

I have hesitated to respond to this review as I do not like to be critical, but you asked my thoughts. Yes, I would stay here again.

Loved It!

We had a fabulous time in Charleston and loved this VRBO, its location and amenities. We have already encouraged friends to consider renting this home the next time they visit Charleston. The home is spacious, well appointed with a large kitchen, wonderful bathrooms and laundry, plus there is off-street convenient parking in back of the home. The owner was great to work with and provided a manual of where to eat and what to do while in Charleston.

Beautiful Historic Home in Great Location

This home was perfect for a girlfriend getaway! We stayed 5 nights in this lovely home. The ambiance was perfect for this historic town. The kitchen and bathrooms had been updated, but they still had that historic touch. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice having 3 bathrooms. The location was another big plus. We were able to walk to several of the places we wanted to visit without any issues. We also used Uber, which was very timely and relatively inexpensive to use. Matt was very easy to work with and check-in was a breeze. We did not have any trouble getting in upon arrival or checking out. As for eating nearby, The Hominy Grill restaurant is almost right across the street. That place is a gem! Wonderful food and great service. The shrimp and grits are an absolute must! I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

Perfect Charleston rental

The Rutledge inn was in the perfect spot. We were in town for a wedding at the Cannon Green which was less than a 5 minute walk. Great restaurants also being within walking distance was a plus. The porch was perfect for enjoying a frosty adult beverage and watching the locals pass by. The king bed was incredibly comfortable. The manager was incredibly helpful in answering all my questions. I will book this location again!
